Rooms to the right of the pool don’t get sun.
The deeper pool is the one that generally slightly warmer.

Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities
Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.

First impressions were disappointing but overall a very nice place that got better as you became more familiar with the resort. Some lovely beaches, especially the dunes area and a nice resort to walk around. Although beware lots of dog muck to dodge when taking the beach way to the town centre (although it was on the paths and not the beach itself). Friendly people and the constant breeze is great. As most places, some excellent restaurants and bars and several not so good - a bit dirty and not well maintained. Not really a lot to do, especially with three children but all enjoyed a week of swimming, sun and rest.

I would visit this resort again but not at this hotel, would stay in town

Resort was OK. Plenty of shops nearby to hotel & nice restaurants (especially as we were self catering). No real complaints re the location.

The resort itslef was nice enough. The live entertainment finished at 11pm, but the discos were open till late. There were plenty of lovely places to eat, and really coulde't fault aby of them. If you're like us and have small children, and they need a feed of veg and mash then the place to gor is the Medievel carvery at the bottom og the tow. Three roast meats mash, roast, three veg, and a soup or melon to start for 10 euro! Owned my a really nice english couple.
he beach was quite small but enought to build sandcastles. We didn't venture to the dunes, where all the water sports happen, but it's meant to be really nice, but very hot.

Fuerteventura has a stunning landscape. The island is under populated and mostly unspoilt. Corralejo is the same as all the other spainish resorts. It consists of one main street full of bars shops and places to eat. It's always dissapointing to see so many bars and cafes that cater for the British, where was the authentic spanish bars? I'm sure you understand when I say we saw plenty of people wearing fotball shirts!

The beaches were within walking distance from the hotel, but if you take the number 6 bus from behind the Lobos Bahia for just 90 cents you can get to Flag beach which is fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay here last August (apart from the accomodation). The beaches are fantastic and have a low numbers of people so there is plenty of room to chill out. Take a beach shelter as the winds can whip up the sand in the afternoon. Be careful as the winds also make the sun feel less strong and it is easy to get sunburnt.

Some of the restaurants in town are wonderful esp Blue Jeans steak house, Fogelera and Sotavento. The latter two being close to the habour. Have young children so didn't see much night life.

If you are intested in duty free cameras etc know what you want before going and check the spec carefully. Be aware that there a lot of old models are available. Use an internet cafe to compare prices before committing yourself.

Hired a car from Orlando Car hire. Did this online several weeks before travelling. When we got there people trying to rent a car (with many companies) where having loads of problems due to lack of availability. We had no trouble and use the car extensively to travel all over the island.

Looking forward to going back again next summer when we'll be staying in a villa that we saw while we were staying in Corralejo this year (2004). Can't wait!

Resort is not bad, lots of places to eat, harbour ares is good, lots of people trying to get you to in to eat. prices OK. food can be boring after a week as they all seem to have the same menus.
Lots of bars, good areas for teenage kids to go, with night clubs etc.

Stay away from the electical shops, most of these items are Fake, and you have no-come-back.

The resort was great there was quite a bit today, it was hugely lively but was just enough for people who want a few drinks in a bar. On the main strip there was a steak house which is fantasic and very reasonable in prices

The beach was OK but it was a bit pebbly for me...but there were many people on the beach
