Apartments 3 to 8 are very quiet
We have stayed here many times.2 bedroom appartment is fab looking onto the beach..very clean..well stocked appartments..very quiet position..right on the beach.beach bar very reasonable.lots of good eating places many are family run

Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities
Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.

Try for pool view room. Some of the ground floor apartments at the rear of the complex didn't get any sun.
Don’t come here !!!

We honestly only ventured into the resort one evening - and were not impressed - the little (very little !!) square was edged with bars with only big screen tellys to entertain customers - all off these closed at about 11pm (and the quality of the drinks was really poor in comparison with those at the hotel - althougth there was very little difference in price!)
Went to the market on one of the days - the usual - but a fun day out if your into haggling ! also found a very nice pizza restaurant a few hundred metres along the road from the market - the name unfortunately now escapes me ! but the food was memorable !
I think honestly the only reason i would visit this resort again would be to stay at the Riu Palace - this time i don't think i'd leave the hotel at all - with its selection of restaurants, bars and shops on site and the fabulous beach its situated on there's no need to !!!

This was the only Canary island I had still to try and have had great holidays in the past (honeymoon was in Lanzarote)
I would not recommend this as a holiday destination.
When you go on holiday you usually see hotels and think they're lovely would not mind staying there in all honesty I did not see one single one.
The place is in desperate need of a good clean. I would not recommend

The whole area is nice. Not many people speak English yet so I wish I had tried to build up my Spanish before I went.

Lovely resort, easy for a wheelchair user and pusher to go round. clean, tidy and lots of friendly people!

We went to the middle part of where you walk up the stairs and there's karaoke bars and a load of other nice bars. If you are looking for ravey stuff, then this resort is not the place to come. There was an Irish bar up there but they take you on with the price of drinks, a right rip off though the night we went in there, there was a live band. Oh yeah, you HAVE to go to this cocktail bar, it's right next to the beach and its at the end of that long road in the opposite direction to the harbour. It has really fantastic music in there, like Hed Kandi stuff and the place was out of this world, it really was, it felt like you were in the Maldives or something. The beach was fantastic, so clean and the restaurant doesn't mind you using their loos.

Corralejo is great, it has everything you want.
The weather for one, we didn't even mind the gentle and even sometimes blusty wind as its so hot it comes as a relief.
The resort has a wide selection of restaurants & bars for all tastes and budgets. The thing we noticed was how much the restaurants & bars welcomed children they were great with them. (We dont have children ourselves)
Again you couldn't fault the cleanliness of the town.
There are great beaches to the best being "Flag beach"
where all the water sports go on, the water is clear blue!
The whole resort just has a great welcoming & relaxing friendly feel to it, you must go!!

while i enjoyed the slow quite pace of the resort my husband didnt .he would have rathered a more up beat place with more bar

The resort was more than we expected, and the food was outstanding, ended up going to a steak house called La Terreza about 4 times, the steaks were enormous and the bills were low.
Went to La Plaza several times for Mexican and Steak Mills, also went into the British Pub to watch the England friendly game, atmosphere was brillaint.
And the sand dunes probably had some of the best beaches I have seen.
Cant wait to go back to this resort.

Fuerteventura is the perfect holiday.....for us.
I know it may not suit everyone BUT if you want a relaxing time on a super beach then this is for you.
Lots of great typical / local food in the small bars in the old part of Coralejo, near the harbour. If you want good food keep away from the British bars.
