I can't thank and praise enough all the staff at les orangers beach resort hotel for giving us a terrific holiday.

We were on all inclusive basis and found no reason to complain about anything, the hotel was constantly being cleaned, the gardens were tended by proper gardeners, and the porters and bar staff were always smiling from the minute we stepped through the door at gone midnight to the minute we stepped back on to the coach to return to the airport a week later.

OK maybe the food was a little samey but no more than any other all inclusive we have stayed at,don't forget they are cooking for a number of different nationalities, always plenty never a time when there was nothing for the kids, and great service from the waiters.

Set right on the beach with a beach bar and restaurant.Plenty of hawkers up and down the beach but don't get upset about them just laugh and chat with them, enjoy their company I most certainly did and by the end of the week finished up selling to them, shorts, old sandals and tee shirts.

Reasonable entertainment with friendly, again, staff, Makou, an especially good guy.
We would have no problems about going back to this hotel whatsoever a great place. We had sea view rooms which were well worth the supplement, and we have never seen a double bed as big as the one in room 4112.We have a picture of 4 adults in the bed, and believe me we could have slept comfortably.

If you have booked at Les Oranges as far as we are concerned you have nothing to fear, just enjoy it!

Hi we have returned after spending one week at Les Orangers.

Its the first time we have taken a break out of season,25 years married. The location was just as close to perfect as you can get, quite a big complex but very well appointed, you never get the felling that the hotel is over bearing.

The whole complex was very clean, and whilst not in full bloom the gardens where constantly being maintained. The staff were always pleasent and only to willing to help in any way.

The entertanment was'nt great but you must remember we were out of saeson.

First family holiday. Hotel was very quiet.

It was nicely decorated with marble and tiled floor.
close to beach and shops.

Staff were helpful and great with the children was it because it was so quite who knows.

We had a sea view room which made our holiday extra special. Sea view a must otherwise you mite end up with a view of the tennis couts or worse.

Always clean or being cleaned.

The food was ok , most food was repeated each night ,but there was alway a wok with something being cooked. Children could have more english favourites on offer. Only so much pizza and chips you can eat.

Puddings and salads were lovely the flower decorating was ab fab. Always fresh flowers in the room and toilets.

We were sadly disappointed with the accommodation and the food. The accommodation is very tired and in some cases totally unsuitable to use (cracked floor tiles, stained furniture, outdated, stained bathrooms) and not what is portrayed in the brochure and on the web sites.

After arriving at 22.15 we finally got rooms that we could use at 00.30 and by paying

This is the seventh and last time I would visit this hotel.

I raved about this hotel and it's staff for the last four years, but I can honestly say that each visit has got worse, but still bearable, until it went all inclusive.

Most of the decent staff have left. The whole atmosphere is ' We have had your money up front, now sod you all'

I met many families in tears at the accomodation that they had been given, you would not house pigs in them, filthy, old, sewerage leaking from toilets, infested with ants and cockroaches, just awful.

We usually travel as a family of seven, I will never go back there again.

The food was left for hours with flies all over it, even the local cats would not eat the chicken, a lot of people had stomache bugs and sickness.

The location is still lovely, but the hotel, it's staff and the food are appauling.

This hotel is in a great location, about 6km to Hammamet centre and 5km to Yasmine Hammamet, definitely both worth visiting.

Food is fairly repetitive but with so much variety it is easy to eat different things each day.

Plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity, only trouble is they all sell the same thing.

Staff are great, tipping works wonders (reserved tables, and lots of extras and attention etc).

Lots of water sports on the beach, very reasonable prices. Lots of things to do, massages, Turkish bath, 2 tennis courts.

Just one complaint, the first room we were allocated was very small, dull and dingy. After being very persistent and with the help of the tour rep we moved to the new block near the beach, premium room, at no extra cost(I think we just got lucky), room was lovely. No problems after that.

Entertainment was not great, but they tried hard.

Before going to this hotel, I read some rather scathing reviews (needless to say, I had already booked) and was extremely apprehensive about going. I can honestly say the reviews were in my opinion incorrect and possibly just 'nit-picking'. I and my family had a fantastic holiday at this hotel, and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit it.

The location of this hotel is superb - right on the beach! We stayed in the new block in a superior room overlooking the beach - fantastic view. Our room was cleaned meticulously every day and towels changed. The food catered for a wide variety of tastes, and was of excellent quality. The deserts were sumptious. The staff were friendly and helpful and although French was the language spoken, many were fluent in English. The entertainment was very enjoyable for both ourselves and our 6 year old daughter.

We travelled here one week ago with our two boys aged 6 and 4 the hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

The food was very limited and my two boys ended up having pizza and chips twice a day for a whole week, if you like fish you'll be ok.

The location is excellent right on the beach front, the beach is very clean but you are pestered every two minutes by sellers, you cannot rest or relax on the beach because of this.

The entertainment was really good and the animation team put on a good show every night. All in all we had a good holiday and a week was long enough.

Well the people who say that the people who have wrote bad reports about this place are nit picking must be very easily pleased.

The place, to me, is Butlins at Filey with sun. The food was nothing short of abysmal (sic). I never thought anyone could try and serve beef stew for 2 weeks twice a day. There is supposed to be a kids menu. This is chips and Pizza.

Our first room, remembering I had paid a premium for a family room, was a room with 2 single beds, and bunk beds even though I had paid an adult price for my eldest. It was not ready on our arrival (2.30pm) and we didn't get in until 6PM.

Every day that we were there and we went out, we saw the rep and she had people Queueing to see her. Of the families we spoke to 7 out of 8 thought the food was shocking. We ate out for the last 6 nights after I hadn't eaten for three days because of the quality, just snacking on crisps.

Every one in our party had the runs and so did most we spoke to.

Having just returned from here on 24th,would like to say a few things in its defence against some of the recent reviews.

Firstly regarding the food, having stayed in many hotels can say it was of a good quality and choice. Kids menu was limited but being a chef myself my kids have a varied taste in food so this wasnt a problem.

The room was small but as we only slept there this was hardly an issue. The hotel staff worked very hard keeping its areas litter free which cant be easy considering the amount of people, english as well who thought it beneath them to use the many bins at their disposal!

On the first day I made a point of tipping everyone I came into contact with,i.e waiter, maid, barman, masseur, beach attendant about ten pound each, following this my family were treated like royalty!

Aa small price to pay I feel for happy wife and two young kids.
