There is no beach at Fethiye it is a harbour,but a water taxi is available to cross the bay to the next resort Calis Beach,where there is a long pebble beach,and many hotels and resturants.

this is a beautiful area of turkey that we have visited every year since our 1st visit some 6 yrs ago,the people are some of the nicest you will ever meet and nothing is ever a trouble to them I have been to this resort many times alone and have always been escorted back safely to my hotel,but not because its a dangerous place just simply as respect to my husband they feel a responsibility to take care of me in his absence.the beach is shingle type and the sea is very clean.there are many bars and restaurants offering a large variety of food to suit all.english,german,polish language is spoken by many of the turkish people.nearby fethiye is a great place to start and explore other areas around by public transport dolmus,this is the cheapest way to explore and trust me you cant get lost as at each resort there will be people more than happy to direct you and every dolmus is clearly marked with its destination,but if in doubt just ask.calis beach is a small quiet and very relaxing area with a large community of x-pats. although it is geared more for adults than children.sunset in calis is second to none,once you have been you will want to return and as its only 45 min from dalaman its not a tedious journey after your 4 hr flight.I recommend this resort for the most chilled out holiday you will ever have.

A lovely hotel i would visit there again if i holiday in that area. I went with a teenager and we both loved all that this hotel has to offer.
The beach was pleasant and clean although we tended to go out on lots of trips so only used the beach twice.
the resort was kept very clean our room was cleaned every day

Very high standard of cleanliness.
Entertainment so professional, enjoyed every show the whole two weeks stay
Beaches were raked each evening and sunbeds placed equally apart,beach towels always readilly available,water dispenserswith plastic cups were very welcome and fitted all around the penninsular, wonderful to swim in the sea as the temperature was so comfortable.
Would definitely visit resort again.

Fetiye has a lot to offer. The harbour is lovely and busy and the market on a Tuesday is worth a look.

Fethiye is dull, but Hisaranu and Oli Denis are not too far away on a bus.

Lots of restaurants to choose from when self-catering or B&B. Spoilt for choice. Calis Beach was 5k from town centre, shingle beach, on entering water shelved quickly. Worth a trip to OluDenize which is a beautiful Turquoise Lagoon and much paragliding. Many water sports and trips out on boats from both OluDenize and Fethiye. For a great day out and to act like a child you must go on a Jeep Safari, (Focus), best trip for families.

Overall the resort was very clean. with plenty of sunlounges hammocks etc..
I feel the watersports could have been a bit better. Just maybe they could have arranged windsurfing and dingy lessons, seeing as they had these lying around with lots people not knowing how to use them. There were other motorised water sports nearby. But they were horrendesly expensive I thought. Double what you would pay in Cyprus.
There is excellent scuba diving that can be arranged with the Mermaid Diving club. Very helpful and freindly instructors. If you are keen to learn, Then I strongly recommend these people

The Resort is beautifully kept. Flowers everywhere, and very green!
The Beaches were very safe for young children! The water is more like a lake, calm and warm!

The place was spotless!
The entertainment team were great!
The beach was a 'man-made' beach which we didn't really use - I always wanted to go on a 'beach' holiday - i've now changed my mind - any chance we get a child free holiday again it will be letoonia every time!!
