This was our 3rd visit to the Brilliants. Very clean apartments and this time we had a corner apartment which was very spacious. Food at pool bar was ok but not as good as previous years. There is a supermarket across the road to the left as you come out the front and this was reasonable. We used to walk over there to get ice lollies and drinks as it's cheaper then the pool bar. We always managed to get sunbeds but you do get the early risers who bag all the best spots and parasols and then you dont see them all day!!! Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Didnt use Thomson rep at all or go to the welcome meeting as we visit every year and tend to do our own thing. Never stayed in for the entertainment so cant comment on that.

a group of 50 of us travelled to cyprus to celebrate our wedding at capo bay and 30 of our guests stayed here with us at the brilliant apartments.
couldnt have asked for a better holiday, the location of the apartments is superb, just a few minutes from the strip if you cut through eden square.
we were self catering but ate breakfast at the apartments most mornings and had our evening meal there 4 or 5 times, every meal we had was superb.
we was even sent up champagne breakfast the morning after our wedding courtesy of the hotel manager.
all the staff are very friendly and work really hard.
as for entertainment we cant comment because we went to the strip every night
all of our party has said they would visit these apartments again.
maybe we'll all go back for our first anniversary.

we have just got back,we stayed for one week. Not enought time I recommmend 10 days or 2 weeks+.Plently to do Water sports-peddlos,oxoons,speed boats e.t.c.The Kids love it.The great entertainment-Robbie Willaims they get everybody singging along and dacing and loads more!!!Kids Club everyday-darts water-pole tag water races table pool!!-the kids love it!!The staff what can I say great friendly , helpful i recamend the man on in the evenings he always stops you for a chat and says what have you been doing today he is great. We stayed on the top floor in 315 Studio.Great they are massive bigger than the photos. If you are self catering go to George Supermarket it is ment to be the chepest it is down road 2mins walking distance.I think the hotel is in a great position because if was right in the middle of the town then would be soooo noisey at night 4mins walk exact. We only had factor 25 the tem is in its mid 30s so you would need 35 atleast. The hotel food is very nice for lunch - with toasties. Make Sure you have change because the Cypreits like a tip!!The pool is warm but with a very deep end take some lielows with you i don't Know what you'd do without them.By the way the evening entertaiment starts at 9:30pm.There are loads of cats/kittens around the pool it is ok to feed them. When you wake-up 8:30 all the sun beds are resvered so be there early to reseve them.OH go to Larnica Market on sunday very big-very good. The Ayna napa water park is good for 12+ year olds but for the younger age group i recomend Fun Park Water Park it is very basic but there are a lot of sunbeds for adults to relax!!!
I would vist the BRILLIANT hotel again and hope to see you there as well ,i hope my advice has helped you decide your hotel.........in Cyprus Gina xxx

Just back from a weeks stay at the brilliant.
Visited with my mum gran and cousin.
Hotel rooms very big but i think this was because our rooms were on the corner of the building.
Air-con kept us cool although you weren't able to leave it on while you weren't in your room as the key was required for the electricity in the room.
Large enough pool with a very deep end which was good, shallow end was ideal for smaller children however my gran did manage to slip in it which was very funny !!
Found my favourite snack - Tzatziki (or something) you must try it!!

Would definitely return to the brilliant at the same time next year as the weather was excellent for October and the pool wasn't overcrowded.

We arrived at around 4.30am, and were given a very warm welcome at reception. The reception area is welcoming and very clean and the Staff always very friendly and willing to help with any queeries.

The hotel as 3 floors with lifts at both ends, the lifts are quite small but will take a family of 4 comfortably, except when you have your luggage (depending on how much luggage you may need a couple of trips). There are stairs which are clean but at night not always lit well (the side we were on).

The rooms are of ample size and very clean. There were enough plates, cups, glasses and cuttlery for 1 per person. There was also plenty of utensils for cooking on the 2 small gas rings and a microwave with a built in grill, and a large fridge with a small ice box and an electric kettle.

There was a welcome pack which consisted of a bottle of washing up liquid, 3 individual butter portions, 3 individual jam portions, 4 coffee, 4 sugur and 4 tea bags, small bottle of milk, 6 slices of bread a carton of orange juice and carton of white wine and a pack of serviettes. the butter and the jam hardly covered the bread. Due to our very late arrival we tucked into the welcome which cost

Just returned home after a week at the Brilliant Apartments, we were the first guests this year and the staff were really good. I had booked 2 x 1 bedroom apartments as we had taken my mother in law and thought she would prefer her own space. The receptionist let me have my choice of 3 rooms, I chose one overlooking the front of the building as this had sun on the balcony all day. Some of the balconys with a pool view didn't get the sun at all. The room was really spacious as it was on a corner giving us more space in the living areas for 2 of our boys, (the eldest son shared with grandma). Our bathroom was a good size but the one in the other apartment was very small.

The Kitchen was quite well equipped the usual pots and crockery, a full size fridge, a kettle and a toaster.

The water pressure in the shower was very good.

When you arrive there is a welcome pack costing

These apartments are in a great location just at the top of Eden Square close to main strip.

We were a little disappointed with our room as we had no sun at all on balcony at any point of the day, we also had an air handling unit on the roof above us which droned all night and there is very little storage space for clothes for full occupancy. That said they were very clean and the staff were always very friendly.

The pool is large though not very child friendly, most of it is very deep and it drops to deep water very quickly from shallow end. we spent most days at the beach because of this.

There was very little entertainment going on though this was probably because it was end of season. The food was really good and cannot be faulted, local dishes recommended.

All in all not as good as last years stay at the Lantiana Gardens but would still go again.

The Brilliant really is Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!! could not fault this hotel in anyway its clean and the staff are ever so friendly the pool is clean although a little chilly, but in the temps we had was quite inviting. Staff love children and really made our stay memorable and nothing is too much to ask.

Entertainment is very limited (2 nights a week) Robbie Williams on Saturdays (very good)and Boys aloud on Thursday's I think, but this did not spoil anything.

Lots of sunbeds for all so don't bother getting up at 5 in the morning to put towel out there is no need.
