We were advised by friends, who have stayed here for a number of years, and the apartment we had was owned by the same guy who owns JJ's on the main road, in fact he owns all the apartments in the block.
We needed a bit more space than JJ's as they were room only, but Greenpeace has a separate living room and kitchen.
Good size bedroom with wardrobe and plenty of hangers! Also a lock up cupboard for your cash etc.. (Would be better with a safe, but the place seems secure enough) Air-con is in the bedroom, but rarely needed as the rooms were cooler than other places we have stayed in Goa. Also a fan in the bedroom as well as the living room.
Living room has a TV with satellite, good choices if you want to watch it while ...
the other half is getting ready. There’s a 2 seater sofa and armchair are nice to relax in. Read More
The kitchen has pots/pans/glasses etc (only enough for 2, but more on request) and kettle will be supplied on request otherwise it's boil a pan time (not a problem).
Laundry service available, and not too expensive. Good balcony which is caged in as we were on the ground floor, but this ain\'t a problem either (better to be secure).
Room cleaned every day and new towels/sheets every 2 days.
There is a pool available with a few sun loungers, but didn't use it - ok if anyone is ill and you wish to stay at your base for the day.
Only a 3 min walk to the main road and near all you could wish for. Just cross over the main road and within 5 mins you are at the beach. A couple of mins walk takes you to the bus stops for either Calangute or Panaji.
A nice place, clean, tidy and Mary who looks after the rooms is only too glad to be of assistance we would go back again if the price is good.
We paid £15 per day for apartment Inc. aircon/Sat TV/Fridge £210 for 14 nights, pretty good seeing that all is going up.
