Pebble visited here on June 2008
How two people view a resort. We found the resort idyllic, fantastic beach, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, very much as Los Cristianos was 30yrs ago. We have booked to stay for a week in Mayo 2009.
If you want British pubs,loud music and being pestered by time-share, then this is not the palce for you.

El Medano was described to us as a Spanish village - great tapas and a bit of trouble parking. What we found was a small town with a maze of narrow streets - all with skips and trucks parked up making it impossible to drive around. We couldn\'t find anywhere to park and there was no evidence of restaurants - harbour or tapas from the streets. Glad to get out and so glad not staying there!
