One of Europe's largest and most popular resorts, Benidorm attracts more than five million visitors each year. The resort boasts hundreds of bars and restaurants competing for trade, meaning prices are kept well down in this party town. During the summer the resort is largely dominated by the package holiday market but in the winter the pace slows when pensioners flock to Benidorm, keen to get some winter sun. Long weekend breaks are becoming increasingly popular and hoteliers are responding with keen prices. Playa Levante remains the most popular beach with Brits, thanks to its proximity to the bars. The beach is also cleaned every night during the summer months, guaranteeing each day it starts with pristine sand.

It was cold!!! One morning on a walk we had to avoid ice on the road!!!
It was busy along the promenade and old town during the daytime, but at night there was very little going on in the New Town - the old town around Tapas Alley was always busy.
We will return again to Benidorm in the winter months - hope it\'s warmer next time!!

The beaches are cleaned every day. We never ever saw litter of any kind other than in litter bins. The resort entertainment on the Levante Beach side was abundant and varied. There were plenty of shops with massive amounts of cheap watches, clocks, clothes, shoes, etc. I will definitely go back to Benidorm but pick a better class hotel like the Calypso or Venus or their sister hotels.

been a few times now to benidorm, becoming hubbys favourite ,prefer to go out of season more weather has always been favourable to us. beautiful promenade to walk along beach always cleaned at night, plenty of shops for the women ....and the markets SUN.and WED. have to very careful of pickpockets though ladies keephold of your purses and gents your wallets. did hear of one lady having a necklace pulled from her throat one day these are not spanish folk doing this can\'t say who they are in public. apart from that you\'ll love Benidorm,we do.

We have been going to this resort for quite a number of years and cannot praise it enough for the cleanliness, brilliant entertainment and high standards of clean and tidy beaches. That\'s why we come back year after year.
