Avoid if you want an All Inclusive holiday and don't want to pay for anything as this hotel charges by the minute it seems for anything they want to.
Get a room on highest floor possible, keep way from first floor as they put the German, Dutch and Belgium youths in there.

Take an empty water bottle with you down to breakfast and fill it up, saving you having to buy water for the day.

The resort of Fanals is lovely, the beach was spotless, it's not sand though, it's shingle. €4 for a sunbed although you can buy beachmats from a beach shop for 95 cents, which a lot of people did!

The resort as a whole werent too bad, but we went in off peak in October so as you can imagine wasnt very busy.
I was very suprised how persuaive the pr's are for the clubs they will not leave you alone and then it can become intimidating.
The best place went to on this holiday was on the sea front it was a mexican restaurant not sure of the name, but the staff were friendly, and it is very cheap.
But I'd much rather pay extra money to go somehwre else than Llloret de Mar again.

The resort was okay, there was plenty of shops and little streets to look through although if you was self catering i think it would be hard to find resturant,there were lots of bars but not many food places.
I thought the beach was very hard work and only went there twice the sand was like gravel and killed your feet, the waves were dangerous and could'nt let the kids go in as also there was a big shelf in sea where it just dropped from shallow to deep water.
At the edge of beach they is a dip in the sand we was walking down pavement when my son spotted a rat down the dip,we then saw about 50 rats scurring round right on the beach where children played,but it was 8pm so i think they mainly come out at night, still it made my skin crawl.

Didn't actually visit the resort that much but what we did see was very nice. All the local people we met were very friendly.

The resort itself was beautiful, noisy in the centre ( which you would expect in any big resort) but lovely to walk on the beach in the day or night. Loads of shops bars and restaurants. The beach was very clean with lots for everyone young or old. A lovely man made walk with view points which was lit up at night and watersports for the young. I would definately visit the resort again.

The beach is lovely although children need to be with an adult if they go in the water as there is a big drop so far out.
There is not a lot of family entertainment at night which was really dissapointing.
The food at the orient express is lovely i reccommend the steak in the upstairs restaurant.

We stayed in Fenals about a 10 minute walk from Lloret center, it was a good holiday but we were all glad we only went for 1 week as we were running out of things to do which is the only reason we wouldn't go back.

The resort of lloret de mar is very clean with plenty of shops and cafes and disco's. We weren't so keen on the shingle beach and the sea shelves very steeply and unsafe for young children or non swimmers. If you're teenagers the nightlife would be great but for older couples no shows or variety clubs, just restaurants and pubs. However lloret is a good base for seeing all the area has to offer, a must for all visitors is a trip to Monserrat, don't miss out, its breathtaking. We would definitely come back again as the costa brava is a beautiful area of Spain.

The best places we found to go was Moby's bar and Robin Hood.
Mobys has very very friendly staff and we met lots of great people there. It was very welcoming and great music. We had some of our best nights in there.
Watch out for the club promotion staff, they are very cheeky but lovely bless them. They'll try and pull you in all the clubs so if you don't want to go, cross the road as they are mostly all standing on the right hand side.
Robin hood was just straight over the roundabout when you come out of the hotel near the supermarket (Caprabo). Drinks were very cheap and had endless fun and brill nights in there.

The resort itself was alright. People were really friendly and couldnt do enough to help. The beach was lovely and clean considering the amount of people.
The entertainment of an evening was varied.
I think I would probably go back to this resort again.
