I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! Me and my friends went away for a week and the service was second to none. We were greeted with champagne on arrival and our suitcase was brought to our hotel room. The rooms were very spacious and clean! The food was very nice and always fresh, it has food for picky eaters also! The beach is a 10 minute walk, the shop is 2 minute walk. Overall I can’t recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 2 weeks in the Hotel Sunset and I enjoyed every minute. The Hotel was approx 3-4 minutes from the beach. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. We stayed in a suite with our 2 children. It was very large. The maid came in every day and emptied the bin. Over the 2 weeks, we had 4 sets of clean towels each and the room was hoovered once although we could have had it done more if we wanted. The beds were made daily and the sheets were changed once. The food was ok. It tended not to be overly warm but a good enough choice. Watch out for the chicken, it tends to be too pink. There was no entertainment at this hotel, just cd's. There is a tv in the bar (which is open 24 hours). The bar has happy hour all the time on cocktails. Very good value. They also have a bar outside, beside the pool which again plays cds. There are two pools, once for babies and a larger pool. Both cleaned every day.
We would have no hesitation about returning to this hotel again.

the hotel was always clean but the bedrooms only got cleaned once a week and we only got fresh towels twice a week.
hotel food was ok we just had chips with cheese.
the location was good for my daughter nice and quiet.
The hotel staff were very ignorant this year never spoke to you and didnt have time for you.
There was no entertainment at all for kids

Breakfast was nice and my daughter loved it.
The hotel was spotless the cleaners are always cleaning.
The hotel food was not bad.
The location was excellent it was nice and quiet at night .
The hotel staff where always there to help they always helped me to get the pram up the steps.And they are great with kids.
And the entertainment was alrite

Hi, just back. the hotel is very nice (best part of town) but quiet. the rooms are clean (you get tv, air-conditioning, safe and a powerful shower) and the maids are in every day although they don't do much more than make the bed and mop the bathroom floor.
The staff are friendly but not very talkative (a lot of bulgarians are like that) so don't take it personally.
Food isn't good (you need to be down at 8am for a warm breakfast & even then its pretty basic) so go bed and breakfast and eat out - you can have dinner at the 5 star hotels nearby for 12 lev & theres lots of cheap restaurants in the resort (try the James Joyce pub at the far end of town - very cheap).
The swimming pool is very small and you'd need to keep an eye on small children.
The hotel itself is at the far end of the beach from where all the "action" would be so its a 15 minute walk to where most of the pubs and restaurants are - handy if you want to get some sleep at night.
Theres a small pub at the back of the hotel if you fancy a pint without the walk.

We would say that this is a small hotel, but very friendly.
The staff could not do enough for you. The rooms were kept very clean.
You had a good choice for breakfast. Snacks at lunch time were good and reasonable.
We think that this hotel is in a good position, not too far to walk to the centre and quiet at night time. We are not sure how the new hotel The Majestic will affect the hotel, although we really don't think that it will as they were still building last year when we were there and it did not interfere with our holiday.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent.

Stayed here last year, the hotel and the staff were excellent. The rooms were basic but spotless.
This hotel is situated right at the other end of the beach so it was fairly quiet which suited us, you could always walk, catch a boogey train/taxi to the other end (which was really loud so would not have wanted to stay this end).
Only bad thing was the food, but its the same all over bulgaria, its luke warm and not very nice. Lived on Pizza/lasagne for two weeks!!
Going back to Bulgaria next year, the family want to try the big new one that was getting built behind Hotel Sunset called Majestic, but I definately think I'll be staying at Sunset again.
