These apartments are fab!! Me and 4 friends went to Ayia Napa in July and stayed at the senator.
There clean, spacious and the staff are really friendly especially when you come staggering in at half 5 in the morning and you cant remember what room your in ha! (it only happend once)I would recommend these apartments to anyone, they are right near the square and close to loads of restaurants you cant go wrong.
There are 3 pools as well to choose from which is good when the main pool gets hammered. They serve cocktails all day mmmmmmmmm and the breakfasts are brill and soak up the alcohol well!
All in all we had an excellent time and thats alot of thanks to the senator.

The group with us had a fantistic time.
The hotel is wicked if you are there for the clubbing side.
The staff are so helpful.
I would recommend it to any one if they were going to Cyprus.

We didn't know what to expect as the travel company had no information regarding this hotel. However initally we thought the room was ok, decor very basic and in need of lick of paint for freshness.
The bedroom was comfortable but the two camp beds in the living space were dreadful. In 1 week the apartments were tidied everyday but towel and sheets only once.
The location of this hotel is brill if you can stay in basic living environment then this is the place for you.
We did get a free complimentary room on the day of departure and that room was 100% better than the one we stayed in for the week.
Hotel staff very helpful and friendly just a pity about the actual apartment.

When we arrived at the hotel there were really friendly staff letting us know that the bar and kitchen was open 24 hours incase we were hungry after our long flight.
The room we stayed in was clean, not a good view from the balcony but it was fine.
The food was fantastic and well worth the price.
The staff were really friendly, Tammy and Gemma - 2 waitress's made us feel really welcome and very friendly. They made time to get to know the guests.
Entertainment was good, especially on a Friday night.
I would defo visit the Senator again.

Nice and clean not far from the square lots of nice bars.
We hired two bikes out so we went to the harbour and the beach. Went on two boat trips.
We didn't take our children with us but next year we will and hopefully at the same appartments if they can get us in because there is plently for them to do.

it was really really great.... the perfect hotel for young people who want to go out in the night and take a taxi to the beach (it was too hot to walk!)
really a great hotel with only young and funny guests.... the scots were great :-) and it has a lot of englands!!!!!!!!!
if you would like cheep and good appartments, then is the senator a good choose.

After staying in the Senator with my family eight years ago,I decided to visit the resort again with my friends.We did not expect a five star hotel,as we booked with the knowledge that the hotel was rated two stars.However,we did not expect to share our room with three mice.After spotting two mice within the space of two hours we complained to reception who visited the room with insect repellent which clearly does not solve the problem of mice infestation.We were told that we could not be moved rooms so we spent an uncomfortable night sleeping on the sofas in reception.As we had not seen the rep since our welcome meeting,we were unable to make our complaint known.With mice droppings left on the cooker,the toilet seat and the floor we had to take it upon ourselves to clean the apartment.After being approached on our ground floor veranda by two girls who had previously stayed in our room,they informed us that they in fact had the same problem.So anyone who is allocated room 503,note that you will be sharing with three rodents.However,on a positive note the hotel's location is perfect for young people who want to be close to the square for the nightlife.It is just a five minute walk away.Nissi Beach is five/ten minutes away in a taxi.

apartment had all the necessary cooking equipment you would need but not necessarilly use. rooms cleaned and tidied 5 days out of 7, sheets and towels changed twice a week. couldn't complain about the food though we weren't that adventurous. location was ideal, not to close to the "square" but close enough if thats why you were there. surrounded by restaraunts and corner type shops with the main shopping area about 20 minutes walk away. staff friendly but we preferred bar 2 where Kyriakos the head barman made everybody feel as though they were his best friend. it also had the best pool. entertainment provided most nights including karaoke and barbecues. would definetly go back though would take more money. we spent around

I just got back from Cyprus after spending a week at the Senator Apartments in Aiya Napa. I found the apartments to be very clean with maid service coming round every other day. The bar is great and the staff, brilliant. They are very approachable and friendly and dealt with any queires or requests promptly. Entertainment was provided most nights including a BBQ, Kareoke, music and Euro 2004 coverage (couldn't move for England supporters) and during happy hours a wide variety of cocktails were available.. I tried them all!! There are several swimming pools which aren't as big as some hotel pools however, Nissi Beach is only a 20 minute walk away and was definitely worth it. The nightlife Aiya Napa is so famous for is only a five minute walk around the corner from Senator, as is the historic Monastary. Once you come away froim the clubs there are loads of shops, restaurants and a fun park also within easy walking distance of the apartments. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Senator and am planning to go back later on in the year.
