wow!what a great place!the senator apartments are the most friendliest place that my friend or i have ever stayed.The rooms were not only kept clean & tidy,but were extremley modern,with a brand new fitted kitchen & very modern furniture.This hotel is ideal for young people wanting the night life as it is very close to the main square,but it also caters for families,having an area for a pool table,table tennis & also a range of computor games & access to the internet.i have already booked to go back in a couple of weeks,& again in october.the staff are all so friendly,especially the bar staff,who will do there upmost to make sure you have the most enjoyable stay.Unfortunatly i couldnt say the same about the first choice reps in the resort,who i found unhelpfull & unaproachable.

Great place for a group of friends. I think you need to be youngish or at least young at heart to enjoy the convivial atmosphere of this hotel/appartment block.
The rooms are clean and well kept and the staff are very friendly. In some ways the location is ideal in that it is about a fifteen to twenty minute walk into central Aiya Napa....so quiet when you want to go to bed but still within easy reach of the night life.
Most nights there was some entertainment put on if you wanted to stay at the appartments, They have a really good bar( with good and friendly staff) but prices were a little more expensive than elsewhere...although cocktails were reasonable!

we have stayed at this complex 4 times in last 2 years & each time in a different block..as there are several ...with 3 pools to choose from..though the main one is probably the best. The apts are not the most scenic to look at but are always kept to a high standard in keeping with its rating.Location wise its ideal for the square(main bar/pub/club area ).but far enough away to not hear any noise .. about 10min walk.The beach is a bit of a walk..20mins..although we use the one just outside the town on maimn coastal rd which is about 25mins from apt..but worth it!Entertainment was always well organised..with karake very popular!& the staff are always friendly

Senator is brilliant it was the first time i have stayed at the senator apartments but i will be going again.
The entertainment is brilliant and the people are very friendly and helpful.
It is very clean and has 3 large swimming pools. There is even an arcade for the kids at the night to play in when the adults are having a drink and there is arcade games and computers at the reception bit near the bar.
I could even e-mail family and friends off the internet instead of sending postcards its excellent. I would advise people to stay at senator apartments it is more for familys but it is brilliant!

For my third holiday in Ayia Napa I stayed in the Senator apartments with my two friends in a self catering studio apartment. This meant one of us had to sleep on a camp bed. It wasn't me but I was told it was very comfortable.

The apartment itself was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the water in the bathroom was always hot and fairly powerful. Maids were always about first thing in the morning cleaning, and had no qualms about coming in if you were still there in bed, they just clean around you! But if you don't want them to come in they are happy to clean at another time when you aren't in the room.

We were in the blocks away from the main building, which meant we had our own small pool for our block and the one next to it. You could use any of the three pools, but we were lazy and mainly used our small one. The pool bars were only attended by staff until about 7pm, then the only bar was the one in the main building. The staff were all very nice and friendly.

The Senator was far enough away from the nightlife to be nice and peaceful, but close enough to walk to every night for food or clubbing. About 5 mins away. Close enough to walk back to during the night to change your shoes if they were killing you! It's very hilly in ayia napa so wearing high heels all the time is not a good idea. Every pair I've ever worn there has had to be re-heeled when I got back!

I love Ayia Napa because nowadays its a place where you can make what you want of it. You can go there with a family if you want and not be surrounded by yobs as its much better now than a few years ago when it was garage clubbers heaven. But if you want the nightlife it's still there too for a "mates" holiday. There's all different types of music for all tastes, but I personally love Starskys nightclub, which is 70's disco. The bars around the square have good music in too before the nightclub, but the drinks offers tend to be better on the outskirts of the square. Try the Square Bar for good cocktails at happy hour,
