We have stayed at these apartments now for many years the rooms are spacious and very clean maid service is 6 times a week.
The location is the best in cyprus only 2 minutes from the sea and a choice of several small beaches can be reached within 10 minutes.
Protarus centre with excellent restaurants and bars is only a 5 minute taxi ride away.
The staff at this family run establisment are all very friendly and helpful. Jean on reception greets you with a smile every morning, Catherine the managing director is always rushing about making sure the guests are enjoying their stay.
The food serverd here is of a good quality and very well priced.
The entertainment is passible as there is plenty of things to do around the resort itself.
Yes we will be back next year a fantastic place for a family holiday.

Despite what others state and the fact it did have a lovely beach nearby, we spent 2 horrendous weeks without hardly any sleep due to the faulty air conditioning dripping from above appartments.
Dripping water onto the metal air duct in our bedroom that sound like a drum tapping all night and also the very loud music and loudspeakers from two adjacent hotels.
On our very first night we had to call reception to try and sort out the noisy air conditioning and all the guy did was lean out of our window and drape a bath towel over the duct which softened the tapping for a while until it was soaked and then tap tap tap for the rest of the holiday.
We asked to be moved but they refused. Worst holiday we have ever had, Never again.
Worse still even though we unsuccessfully tried to get compensation from Olympic they still say in 2007 brochure it is in a quiet area. Might I add we have had lots of Olympic Holidays which we have enjoyed ,but this one was totally mis-sold as quiet and we never got a penny back in compensation.

We arrived as dawn was breaking, we were pleasantly surprised with the views from our room, we had both pool and sea views from one side and a sea view from the other, we were expecting an inland view so we were amazed to look out from our room and see the beautiful blue sea.
The rooms were spacious and airy and had little extras, like a tea towel, which we have never been provided with where we have stayed before.
The bathroom contained a bath with a shower over which was nice, we also found that there was no lack of toilet paper, as soon as 1 roll was used another was replaced as the spare, in other apartments we would only get 1 toilet roll per stay after that we would have to buy our own.
The electricity sockets out there are the same as ours ( we didn't realise)
There are hairdryers, irons and adapter plugs (for mossie plug ins) that can be borrowed from reception, which is very handy to know when you are trying to limit the amount of weight in your luggage. They also lent us some scales to weigh our luggage on coming home
The entertainment we have given a 4 because we don't really go on holiday for the entertainment, there was just a quiz night and a karaoke night which suited us as we just like a relaxing on holiday.
The staff we found to be really friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially Jean and Catherine, nothing was too much trouble. The pool and pool area was kept immaculately clean by the young lad who never seemed to stop, first thing in the morning and last thing at night, he would be there checking the pool, straightening the sunbeds etc (which by the way there are plenty enough for everyone and free)
If you want a really relaxing holiday this is the place to unwind
The Platomare was far better than we had even hoped it would be, and we will definately be coming back again

The hotel was very clean and bright.
The rooms were well equipped for a S/C holiday but they do have a good choice of lovely reasonably priced food in their restaurant/bar. We had a pool and sea view from our window which was lovely.
The beach is only a few minutes walk and it is beautiful. Once you get by the rocky part it turns out to be lovely golden sand and clear warm sea with water sports on offer, paragliding etc.
The staff at this hotel were pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
There was no entertainment on site as such. But the bar and restaurant and background music was pleasant enough which suited me as I don't like karaoke etc anyway.
