Been 4 months since we have been home... feels like ages!
We had such a mint time there and have kept in touch with Ali! The best people we met there were Ali, Howard, Moe, Christina, Natalie, d-j, Casanova aka trainer! Islam, Muhammad (smiler), Muhammad (young waiter)! all sound miss them very much! Howard, Moe, Natalie and Christina are all mint they try there best but sometimes it got boring because it was the same stuff! d-j really needs put on some different music it's the same every night at the disco most the time.

Our room was very clean although the maids always seem to come at the wrong time... but overall we had a mint holiday ... We wish we could go back but were only 16 so can't afford it! We will never forget it and all the people we met! hope everyone else who goes has as much fun as we did.

Just got back and we all had a great time. When we arrived we were greeted by "helpers" at the airport wanting to carry your cases be bold and tell them to go away quite strongly! Some even told me they were our bus drivers.

Only listen to the people with first choice shirts on. Dont get your visa stamped either if you are staying in Sinai as you dont have to! Also dont get a trolley for your cases its another scam your bus is just outside the terminal after a short walk.

Once that experience was out the way we arrived very short bus trip and we were all impressed with what we saw. We were concerned about the building work before we went but dont be as you never hear it and its away at the other side of the hotel and its all screened off.

Not one person moaned about it as there was nothing to moan about. Check in was swift and smooth. Off the bus handed an envelope stuck labels on your bag took you to your room 5 mins later cases arrived and off to the bar we went sorted!

The food at the hotel was great and never heard a lot of moans about it. Our kids also loved it and the always had something to choose and they are 11 and 7. We ate out with our friends from Rotheram and Stoke who we met there and had great times in Namma Bay.

The Hard Rock Cafe is excellent but overall the food within the hotel is great we only went out to have a wee change, as I said to some folk there if you ate a la carte for 14 days you would get fed up with that too.

The Staff all over the hotel from the manager to the cleaning staff were great and could not do enough for you.

If you needed an iron you called reception and within minutes it was ther with the board. Extra towels and pillows again if you want it ask and you will get it.

The daytime entertainment was really good around the pool and most folk joined in especially against the Itallian guests at water volley Ball!

Lets just say the other side did not celebrate much against the Brits! Nattalie Moe and Gallia all worked hard to keep a good atmosphere going and Galia looked after all the kids and kept them occupied.

At night it is still in the learning curve but its what you make of it really. The best night we had was the Mr Conrad Competition when I was entered by my big fireman friend Dick! From Rotheram in my absence he volunteered my services, we all had a great time that night doing silly games and stuff and the place was packed and everyone including the hotel manager had a real scream.

We even learnt the night staff how to do the Peter Kay version of Amarrilo! we all trooped through the hotel in a big conga style line singing the song. The guards at the door could not work out was going on but saw us all laughing and joking and singing along. They must have thought we were all nuts.

All I would like to say on this is Joe Kev and Chris the cokney crew how does it feel to get beaten by the the only Jock in the comp! Better luck next time from the first ever Mr. Conrad

We would all go back to this hotel again and thats what most of our friends said and they were from all over Scotland England Ireland and Wales.... Overall we all had a great time and now I have had my rolls and bacon I now want to go back there as I miss it already!

Just been back over a week enjoyed holiday.

First time all inclusive, not very impressed, no ice cream for kids or very good snacks.

In the resturant food was ok but me and husband poorly most of holiday stomach cramps and sickness imodiom does not work.

Room service very good.

Hotel very clean, staff very friendly, staff at pool bar not very friendly.

Ok if you want to spend all day at pool side, take lots sun cream, very hot.

Animation team very good we had pool party just before we left had fantastic time.

Evening entertainment was ok, kids mini disco, bingo, awful singers from Russia. No problems at airport beach is fantastic would go again but just for a week.

Our perfect hotel, very clean (if there is anything you need just ask the room service, they are fantastic), good food (getting better), lovely people.

Entertainment is what you make it, we made friends with everyone and made our own entertainment. Get up on the kareoke, drink loads and stock your drinks up at 10 to 11 and it will keep you going for a few hours. Tip the waiters well and you will be treated even better. They are very kind men and you have to remember that they earn next to nothing. Whats a few pounds from our pockets for a smile on their face and a few extra beers!!!

The Conrad is far enough away from Naama Bay if you dont want to be on top of everything but close enough not for it to be a mission. The bus is brilliant, and at the pickup point its due every night.

Moe and Natalie are stars. Get involved in all the daily activities, its all a good laugh.

We are arranging to go back to the Conrad in a few years. Loved it and wish we were still there!!!

Had a good time at the Conrad - Rooms Spacious, Good food and as the brochure says a pure relaxing holiday!

There was a shortage of sunbeds for the number of people staying here, BEWARE when you have come back from lunch, you may find you are 1 or 2 sunbeds short(taken by one of the pool staff to give to someone else).

Daytime Activities were good, however the evening entertainment was on the weak side and after hearing the Ukraine singer ( bad version of Eurovision)this does require a great deal of improvement, especially when there is nowhere else to go except Namma Bay, but as the Conrad has only been All Inclusive since May this year,I'm sure it will improve as the season progresses! It will have to as they've upped the star rating in next year's brochure to 5*

Beach is fantastic!and so are the trips booked down on the beach for a snip of the price than First Choice charge.Quad Biking was fab and only cost

The Good!

Mr Salama, the General Manager, was a very nice and extremely helpful man. As was his No2, whose name I never learnt.

Both assisted me and my family on a number of occasions in resolving issues. (The alarming thing here is, in 14 years of holidaying I have never before had to speak to a hotel General Manager in order to resolve hotel issues).

The majority of staff were very helpful and all were polite, even those attempting to fleece you out of your money (more to follow).

The house reef, at the end of the jetty was fantastic. The fish and coral was spectacular and could easily be some of the best in the world. The Lion Fish "family" were ever present and were stunning. I counted 6, 4 larger ones and 2 somewhat smaller.

The Fitness Suite was reasonable. There are 2 treadmills, a static bike, an air walker and a twisting thingy. It also has a full range of weights machines, lat pull downs, shoulder press, bench press, etc. There is a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. All-in-all, plenty for all but the Olympian.

The hotel clinic and doctor were very good if not expensive. It is

Do not be put off by some of the bad reviews. Having just come back from Egypt, we stayed in the Conrad Sharm El Sheik, booked through First choice.

The Hotel was 10 min transfer from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel we were told to leave our baggage on the bus and were directed to the reception area where we were booked in very efficiently by the staff and shown to our room by one of the staff members. Our baggage arrived 5 mins later.

The room was spacious and very clean. The room consisted of 1 double bed and two singles, bathroom, settee, TV, desk and chair and also a built in wardrobe. The room was cleaned every day. New towels twice a day and clean sheets every day. The cleaner was very friendly and always smiling. Thank you Rabie.

The pool area was very spacious and the pool attendant was very helpful we had many laughs with him (Sameh) thanks.

There were always plenty of towels to use by the pool. The pool area was kept very clean every hour by Kamir who was very friendly who always asked if we were ok.

The food in the restaurant was themed every night eg east meets west, English, Mexican.

The staff, again were very helpful and were happy to help. The entertainment team was very enjoyable through out the day and followed the activities schedule (Howard, Moe, Natiele and Kristien) although the entertainment in the evening could be better although you can see they are trying to improve.

Reference the drinks (beer) when I asked for a glass rather than a plastic cup I had no problems and the beer was always cold, on one occasion the supervisor for the pool/bars spoke to me and asked if there was any problems I mentioned that there was no small tables around the pool area to put your drinks on. The next morning tables appeared around the pool area (thanks).

The beach is very clean and plenty of sunbeds through out the day. The fish are wonderful to look at.

The gift shops in the hotel are well stocked with a wide variety of things to choose from. They were all very curious and polite. We had many interesting conversations with Teto who we sat with in the perfume shop drinking tea.

All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely go back again. We felt very safe there.

1st choice h/o told me no building work was taking place at the conrad, you had to be deaf not to hear it at both pool and beach, some times clouds of dust would blow over pool area.

Pool was well laid out and clean, beach location was terrific. Food can politely be discribed as repetative, food handling by staff is a tad off putting and some hot food was not hot enough.

Many people had dodgy tummies and I feel its down to hygiene in food areas. A/I drinks are limited, and alcohol in drinks depends on how much you tip, so take plenty of Egyptian pounds.

Entertainment: Spinny man 3 times a week, belly dancer 3 times, nubian dancers 3 times, do you get the drift.

2 singers on every night, ear plugs might be a good idea. Some staff were really nice, if you find one a constant drip of tips will keep him attentive.

Front desk very good, Italian rest. Not bad {you pay}.

Overall not to impressed, and would not go back.

First thing I will tell you is that your all inclusive finishes at 12noon on your day of departure, even though you probably won't be picked up till mid or late afternoon depending on where you are travelling to. This is not pointed out clearly at the welcome meeting.

We have just returned from this hotel and luckily we only stayed for a week. A lot of the people we spoke to either had been ill or someone in their party had been ill with stomach upsets. The reps put this down to drinking cold drinks when your body temp. was hot. My husband was ill for part of the holiday and was still feeling a bit off colour for 48 hrs after returning.

The staff were very frendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day.

The food was very basic and it was the worst all inclusive value for money holiday we have had.
Each evening meal was a themed meal, egyptian, french etc. If your taking kids & they like chips then don't expect to see them but they will cook them for you if they ask.

Hope you like roast potoatoes cos you get them for breakfast & tea.

Check-in was very quick and smooth. At the airport First Choice reps advise you to write Sinai only on the back of your visa and just queue to get through immigration. Once at the hotel you go into the disco and give your name in, they give you an envelope with your room number and wristbands. Then walk back outside to the bus to find your case, where the staff will write your room number on your label. We then went direct to the restaurant for some food and when we went to find our room, our luggage was waiting for us outside.

We were quite unimpressed with our room which was right at the end of the hotel, overlooking the Baron! We complained to the staff straightaway and it was changed by the next morning to a lovely room with a sea view. If you are not happy, complain straightaway, as some people had to wait a week for a new room!

The room was good, massive bed, table and chair, cabinets, tv, mini-bar, safe, etc. Bit tired, but on the whole generally good. It was immaculate, cleaned everyday and a man came every night to check everything was all right. He would change the towels again, empty bins and give you a bottle of water. One of our party had a superior room. The only difference was the location was overlooking the beach and they had bathrobes and a kettle
