I stayed at the Conrad with my girlfriend for 2 weeks and we are already planning our next trip there!

The hotel is very well maintained, and there are always people cleaning. We did have a small problem with our house keeping chap, in that he was so keen to do a good job that he would come into the room even if the 'do not disturb' sign was on the door. When we dead locked the door and were asleep in the room, he phoned us to see if the room was ok! I told the staff at reception and a new chap appeared the next day. All sorted.

Our room was great, but the bathroom was a little tired. Still a very high standard in comparison to other bathrooms in the country. We had a superior room which overlooked the beach and was only a 20 second walk from the sea! Also had huge patio doors so you could see the sea all the time.

The food in the hotel was great! Different things everyday, and always pasta or salad if you fancied it. Great deserts too. Neither of us got sick once, and we ate in the hotel most days.

The location let the hotel down a little, as it seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but if you are only looking to get away from everything its amazing. Palm trees, pristine beach, and clear sea. If you go left from the hotel at the beach, there is a natural swimming pool. This area of the beach is really quiet. We were looking for 2 weeks of sun and relaxation, and that

When we arrived we were greated by the Holiday Reps at the Hotel, our baggage was delivered to our rooms once we checked in a timely manner.

We travelled in a group of 15 people and our rooms were correctly booked together to enable us to be all together and to keep an eye on the kids. We found the rooms to be nice and cool and extremely clean and spacious.

In our group of 15 the food demands were needed to be quite high, because we had 4 vegetarians a child of four and teenage kids that wanted the quick food and the parents that wanted a bit of variety.

We read before travelling some disturbing reports about the food, but we were all delighted with the food selection and yes sometimes it might be deemed repetertive, but if you looked there is always at least four to five different selection of food, salads, fish selections, children foods and two meat selections.

We found all the people both working for the Hotel Conrad and the sea front to be very honest and friendly. We were extremly comfortable allowing the children the freedom of the Hotel. This is a fantastic Hotel and the location is brilliant.

AI package very limited for food, drink and entertainment. We had executive room which was excellent and clean. Main food choice very limited and although you could have a full salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner didn't have a similar choice.
Bread and desserts were good.

Hotel is a beach front location overlooking Tiran Island. However there is so much building work going on that its not as idyllic as it sounds. The sea up to the reef is very shallow and ideal for children.

Can't fault the staff, did what ever they could to help, without expecting payment.

The brochure states lounge and disco. The lounge is very small and they had decided to open the panorama lounge up to cope with the number of guests. There is normally a singer and each evening he varies the order of songs.

There is also either belly dancing, Nubian dancers or some other form of local entertainment for about 30mins. We didn't go into the disco after being told the cost of drinks.

I wouldn't go back to this hotel again as we prefer a more lively holiday.

We found the Conrad to be a very clean hotel. Rooms were spacious and kept clean and tidy (although bathrooms are in need of redecorating and appear a little tired), with staff attending to the room all day. The hotel it's self always had people cleaning the public areas.

We found the food to be repetative, with very little changes on a day to day basis. Considering we paid for an AI holiday we thought that having to pay extra for a BBQ once a week a liberty, The cost of

We have just returned from the Conrad, It was a lovely hotel a little bit out of the way, but the hotel did provide a shuttle bus into nama bay. The bus is free if you travel in the day time, it normally leaves at 11.00am and the return bus at 1.30pm. You have to pay for the evening buses, but this was about 75p per person each way which we thought was good.

Our room was lovely - on the ground floor, very spacious. We had a king size bed and two childrens beds and there was still room for a 3 seater sofa and chair.

The food was of a fairly good standard and plenty of it, there are varying times for the AI and the bars. My son however did not like the food as he is a picky 10 year old. One conversation with Ash & Ally the First Choice reps, and they sorted this out with the resturant staff, needless to say a happy 10 year old after that. I would say however that if the Conrad provided a childrens section to their AI menu it would have been excellent.

There was not much in the form of entertainment and this would benefit from a First Choice resident animation team.

The hotel staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The pool is lovely and there is a long stretch of beach.

It was my birthday whilst we were there and the hotel delivered a beautiful birthday cake to our room in the morning.

I must say if you are thinking of going to Namma Bay the Hard Rock cafe was excellent, they do however, have McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC.

On a final note I would like to thank Ash & Ally for their excellent service. We would definately go back again!

This hotel is huge and even though it was full it never felt crowded.

The staff are so friendly and would do anything to help. Rooms were very clean and spacious sometimes being cleaned twice a day.

The food was good the first week but not to good the second week as they do theme nights ie Spanish, fish, chinese etc. I suppose it depends what sort of food you like as everybody has different tastes. Would recomend room service great food. Not very well catered for children but you can order chips for them. Think they could do with a snack bar.

The location was great for people wanting a quite place but also with the option of going in to Naama Bay.

Entertainment was not very good but they were asking people for sugestions so I think things will get better in time.

The hotel was lovely - we stayed in a ground floor room with a kingsize bed situated near to the pool. The air conditioning worked well which was essential as the temperature was well into the 30's.

The food was lovely, there was so much variety. But do not expect your standard burgers and chips. There was everything you could imagine, and the pastries were lovely. We also dined in the Italian restaurant a few times and can highly recommend the food. If you want some peace and quiet it's a nice place to eat, and you are not rushed - in fact I think we made a whole evening out of it. The pizzas that you order on room service are the same and at a bargain price of around

The Conrad hotel, check in was very quick which was good as we arrived at 9.30 and only had until 10.00 to eat, after eating we found Ash and he arranged for someone to take us to our room, we were told our suitcases would be left outside our room but we found them up the hallway no were near our room.

The hotel is very nice and clean, it was very relaxing walking around the grounds. The room was wonderful, king size bed, spacious and clean. The swimming pool is very nice and cleaned everyday - you may need to get up early to get a sunbed. We thought the food was very nice, apart from breakfast, the same thing everyday, lunches were always nice so you don

No way is this a five star hotel I have stayed in better 3 stars.

The rooms look lovely in the brochure new and very up to date but they weren't like it at all. The bathroom was very dated with big bits of plaster to hold the shower tap on as it had already fallen off. The rooms were cleaned twice a day and you got clean towels in morning and after your evening showers.

Food was awful lived off bread and we are not fussy eaters. Everybody was ill who was there during are 2 weeks so we ate out every night. Reps were very unhelpful over the sickness as they said there wasn't a problem.

The Staff were very helpful and couldn't fault them at all.

People were up early to put towels on beds so I joined in by getting up at 7. Pool area could do with a bit of repair, broken tiles and nails stuck out under bridge.

Birds would fly around in restaurant and do there stuff on the food and glasses at the pool bar were just rinsed under the water no good hygiene.

I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a fabulous holiday at the Conrad Hotel, Sharm el Sheik and hope to return again next year. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday I can thoroughly recommend the Condrad Hotel.

Although I have to agree with other reviewers that the rooms do look a little tired, they are very clean and comfortable, and the view from our room more than made up for this. We had a balcony and terrace directly overlooking the beach, sea and Tiran Island.

Like Janine below, we checked in at 21.30 and check in was rapid. We did not get down to the restauraunt until after 22.00 hrs, but were warmly greeting by the staff and had no problem eating at such a late hour.

We stayed half board. The main restaurant serves a buffet style breakfast and dinner. There is a huge selection and choice of dessert in the evening was amazing. There is also an al la carte restaurant available at an additional cost. Dissapointed that the sea food restaurant was not open until May as we were looking forward to eating there.

Entertainment at the hotel is a bit sparse. There is an 'animation team' on the beach who regularly try to involve you in aerobics, darts and volleyball. As the temperature was 36 degrees we were happy to just sunbathe and swim.

There is a singer in the small main bar who does his best, and sings a good selection of songs in the style of Julio Inglesias. There are also belly dancers two nights a week. There is also a pirates disco but this is not our scene and we did not venture there, prefering to go to 'sheiks place' which is in the style of a bedouin tent. Here we were enjoyed a sheesha pipe with apple flavoured tobacco and mint tea with Mohamed.

I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel staff. All were helpful, friendly. The staff in the main buffet restaurant were amazing!! So conscientious and hardworking and managed to make us feel special every night. In particular, I mention Itef who provided exceptional service and ensured our every need was met. I understand from another couple who had stayed at the Conrad previously that Itef rang up whilst on his holiday to make sure this couple received their fresh orange juice at breakfast!!!
