Just got back from La Luna 2 today. Arrived at La Luna 2 at 4.30am, the owner showed us to our apartment. There was no welcome pack, not even a free drink at the welcome meeting, though the rep answered my questions re car hire well. The place was spotless and cleaned often, cooking area very basic but we ate out anyway. Very close to the main road but not too much noise, beach/resort 10 minutes walk max. Didnt really see the staff much but when we did they were friendly and helpful. Would we stay there again? yes.

We stayed at La Luna 2 apartments in Stalis.
We were dumped off there at 3am, no tea or coffee & nothing to eat, no welcome pack whatsoever.
The room was ok to start but as the holiday went on we noticed that the floor was never swept, our towels were changed about 3 times & linen twice during the fortnight, the glass top on the table was broken on each corner & was a real hazard, the cutlery was filthy as was the plates.
No bar & no pool & a dreadful location next to a fast main road, you could however use the facilities at La Luna 1 which was a quarter of a mile away, we chose not to go there although the staff were friendly.

Self catering trip. Arrived early hours of the morning and were dropped off and shown to our room by the rep.
Room kept nice and clean with bins regularly emptied and towels changes at least twice. Views from accomodation spectacular.
Short walk to other part of complex where there was a pool and bar. George and Thoxis couldn't have been nicer and we were made to feel very welcome.
So nice we reutned again this year and stayed in main area as it ws better to be near the pool for our son.

This was the worst holiday I have ever had. We stayed in La Luna, Stalis, Crete. Our apartment was just above the bar. Every night other residents from La Luna went to the bar. However, the staff made it their mission to sell as many drinks as possible, and they became drunk. This resulted in noise, some fights and arguements till the early hours of the morning 3-4am.
Our apartment, though clean, had a shower hanging off a coat hanger, a window which fell out and injured one of my companions, the drainage was blocked, and to top it all off, there was a main road less than 20m away, which carried the main traffic from the west of the island to the east, equivalent to our M1. Lorries, trucks, cars and motorbikes raced up and down from 5am till 3am the next day... 22 hours a day. When I informed Libra Holidays they informed me this was hightlighted in the brochure and it was not. Do not visit. Or if you do so, don't say I didn't warn you.
