Lindos is a lovely place, we have been to Rhodes three times and stayed in Lindos twice, in our view it is the only place to stay in Rhodes, though it can get quite busy with day trippers as everyone that comes here has to visit Lindos! Plenty of good eating places and nightlife. We hired bikes and toured the Island, was really impressed with the roads, they are so much better than they used to be.

Been to Lindos many years ago and pleased to say, not changed very much at all. Very beautiful and most people who go return there. Quite sophisticated and no yob culture. Nice bars/restaurants and great beaches.

Lindos is a lovely place, with plenty to do, great restaurants, especially Broccolini's (although Italian), and really nice locals. The main beach is blue flag and excellent for children as the water is shallow and a long way out. St Paul's Bay great for snorkelling although the beach is coarse sand and pebbly. There is a cafe there and the proprietor is a very nice and friendly guy. Not only that but there is a good local bus service to take you to Rhodes Town and other resorts, but the bus stop is up a steep hill. Lindos is a very hilly village and some people might find this difficult. I would return to Lindos without hesistation.

rooms cleaned every day early /needs to cater for all nations not just germans/italians /improve drinks lager flat spirits poor outside entertainment brought to hotel live bands /greek dancing /karoke nights would improve the hotels entertainment

The nearest town is Lindos it has a good selection of bars and places to eat and buy gifts.There are no macdonalds or KFC,but the local food is very nice, the red rose and the millenium bar had a good atmosphere and also the 60's bar.
Always check your change some of the staff did have problems with their mathamatics so to speak.
To get to Lindos from the Hotel you will need a car or taxi,to town and back will cost you 17 euros. its a nice place but if you like your night life and karaokes ect it wont be for you.

Kalathos/ Lindos
Kalathos is a shigly but clean beach. Not sutable for children as it slopes sharply & the sea can get rough. It is also hard to climb out of the sea due to the shingle/ waves but fun ! Sunbeds x 2 + a parosal = 4 euro. Cheaper to buy a parasol there & take good beach mats
Lindos is a sandy gently sloping beach. It does get very crowded & sun beds are 4 euro each. Expensive if you are with a family.Again buy a parasol there & take good beach mats.

Lindos is brilliant great mixture of old and young. Lots of roof terrace restaurants selling great food. many shops and bars too. Lindos is very pretty with winding cobbled streets. Not good for people with walking difficulties but great for everybody else. The beach is really good with shallow water for at least 100 metres. little fish swim up nearly to the sandy beach ideal for children.We would go back to Lindos again. just not at the Marianthi apts stay away from them.

resort is very clean, it is cleaned daily by the shop owners and bins are regularly emptied, the beach was lovely, no entertainment as such in Lindos, there is music in bars and they have satellite tv for sports but i like live entertainment.

have been going to lindos for 19 years now always staying within the village itself. the village is beautiful and the atmosphere is brilliant. the local people are so friendly, they treat us like family because we have been so many times before.

Memories hotel stands a little way out of lindos, easy to get to on the local bus or taxi. Lindos is lovely with shaded alleys, little shops and many man eating houses, all reasonably priced. There a healthy looking donkeys to ride to the castle and beech on.
