The Roseland Hotel makes a great holiday, the staff are brilliant really nice people. The area in which the hotel was situated was also brilliant. The basis on which we were on in the hotel was great - Bed and Breakfast.

Everything there you could want there was also plenty of choice out if you fancied cooked breakfast. Plenty of sun beds situated around pool area, you didn't have to be up at the crack of dawn to grab one. The pool bar was also great, offered snacks as well as cooked food, good prices.

Greek night at hotel a well worth it night, Greek dancers were outstanding. Kalamacki offers everything it's a great area, ideal for a laid back relaxed holiday.

The Greeks are lovely people they couldn't do more for you. I would go back no problem year after year. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

We did a boat trip to Kefalonia while we were in Zante and the crew were top guys one guy in particular his name was John he was lovely we couldnt fault the Roseland hotel at all it was superb the staff were great it so was relaxed the complex was lovely it was just right not to big and not to small the people who we met whilst there were also great the people made the holiday hotel rooms were superb our Rep Tom was great he sorted any problems or concerns out right away he was really good at the welcome meeting he was a great lad Superb holiday would go back to the Roseland hotel anytime I would recomend it.

The Roseland is a very good hotel . The breakfasts are buffet style that runs for 2 hours , toast , yogurt , honey , boiled eggs , corn flakes , cheese , ham , peaches , tea , coffee , juices are all available and are very tasty as well . Spot on .

The cleaning staff are there every day to dust out your room & change the towels / sheets at least 3 times a week , our cleaner Maria was brilliant , trustworthy and very friendly .

The rooms are o.k. . Each has a shower cubicle or bathroom ( more room in the bathroom ) , a small fridge & safety box for rent . Storage is adaqute , lighting good , beds fine ( pull out underneath one ) , mirrors , hairdryer for the ladies in the bathroom , t.v in each room . Balconies were a fair size and fairly private .

The pool area is kept spotless , sunbeds are free and good quality , poolside entertainment consists of a pool table and various star wars video games , a table tennis set up for the more active , a bubble bath / jacuzzi to chill out to & a well stocked snack bar ( try the frappe , lovely ! ) .

Reception & bar are well kept and there is a good variety of greek or english beers to choose from, theres a large t.v showing mostly u.k sky to keep people up to date ?! Happy hour is good value & cocktails are very popular , Narcis the bar keeper is always happy & very busy ! Vicky on reception is a charm & the night watchman is a cool cat .

There is A Greek night on Wednesday & this is fairly good value as it consists of food and an hour or so of traditional Greek dancing . The hotel food is varied and good value and is served anytime from 8 till 10 .

The hotel is a short walk away from the narrow & sometimes dirty beach ( in certain spots ) but a short walk will give you a nice spot & hopefully for free !!!

All in all a very pleasant experience at an affordable price and if given the chance i would visit this hotel & island again ( & again ) just to marvel at some of the tremendous scenary .

We stayed at the Roseland hotel in july and could not have had a better time. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere through the day was excellent. This could have been due to the friendly families already there, but i am sure we would have had a fab time anyway (despite the earthquake on our last day!!!!!). With the beach only ten minutes down the road, and night-life ten minutes up the road, it couldnot have been better
