Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday and would definately go back. We stayed for 2 weeks.
Was very hard to get a sunbed on the beach but definately got one round the pool. Plenty of activities to keep you busy in the day or if you just want to relax and sit back and watch you can also.
The meals was great had plenty of food to choose from. I was a bit worried as first time all inclusive and i'm a fussy eater but there was a great variety.
Evening entertainment was excellent the entertainment team work very hard.
Got a bus into town and went shopping is worth a look around. Make sure you get a seat as the bus drivers don't mess about on where they want to get too. Visit Riu Cancun there sister hotel you can have a drink and a look around.

Stayed with some mates on my stag doo, rooms and food were very good although I did get a dodgy stomach on the last day, excellent location and not far from nightlife.
Although nightlife in the hotel was more for couples we stayed around the bar a couple of nights and still had a good craic.

For our first time 'all inclusive' we found there was a great choice food wise, especially if you are a vegetarian which my wife is. The main buffet restaurant 'Albertros' has theme nights most nights, and there are three other restaurants (Mediterranean, Oriental and Mexican) which keep the same menu and you can book a table when you eat breakfast in the morning. The only downside was the wine. If you love to drink wine (which we do) then you will be disappointed.
The hotel was very clean,and the staff were fantastic, especially the entertainment team, who made sure you were entertained!
I would most definitely take another two weeks at the RIU Caribe again!

The hotel is located in a excellent place and the staff are the most friendliest.
My cousin got married there and she loved it.
All I can say is that it is a lovely place to stay and the entertainment is excellent

We are a couple in our late 20's and this is how we found the Riu Caribe.
The Hotel was fantastic, rooms were cleaned daily and towels always change daily.
The staff were very friendly and really made you feel welcome.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us because if we wanted to go into town it was a 5 min taxi drive and the beach was much nicer than the Riu Cancun's beach (which is in the town area)
The food wasn't spectacular but there was so much choice you could always find something. Plus the rest of the hotel more than made up for it. I guess it depends what kind of food you like as everyone is different. Its fair to say I wasnt over the moon with the food but I was quite happy with it.
Entertainment - The pool is very lively with aqua aerobics and volley ball etc. If you dont like that though the beach area -which is right next to the pool provides enough shelter to relax peacefully.
Indoor the nightly entertainment is a bit cheesy but its what I expected - kareoke, professional singers and traditional mexican music. It does provide a nice atmosphere though and the entertainment staff are very friendly.
We visited the other 2 Riu Hotels in Cancun to compare and the Riu Caribe is in my opinion the best one. The atmosphere is friendliest and its surroundings are much more natural. All in all I would go back tomorrow If I could. It was my best holiday destination by far! Would definatly recommend it.

Hotel is very nice, nice location. Very clean, rooms cleaned everyday, poolside and pool bar all kept very clean.
Hotel staff, extreamly helpfull and good natured.
Entertainment in daytime was very good, however the shows on a night time did get a little boring.
Quality of food is very good, lots of choice however the menu's in the 2 resturants did not change throughout our 2 week stay.

Everything was amazing I enjoyed every minute!
I have put 5 for everything because there wasnt one thing wrong with the hotel. It was very clean the staff were very kind and me and my mum found them really easy to get along with and to have a laugh with.
The beach was always clean no problems there. My mum was unsure because there were just me and her and we have never been on holiday on our own before. She said when she arrived she wasnt bothered because she felt safe and so did i !
There wasnt a moment were there wasnt anything to do or anywere to go!
I would definitely go back there and to the same hotel! Its the best holiday me and my mum have ever been on!
