Colina Mar was very nice.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, they let us use the iron for free as long as we brought it back when we had finished with it. Maids did a very good job they cleaned room and changed towels etc frequently.
The views from our balcony were beautiful and the room was very spacious.
There was a little shop on the complex that sold everything you could need for your holiday and reasonably priced.
There were plenty of sunbeds and a nice big pool.
Reception will look after your key if you ask them so you don't have to worry about losing it whilst your out.
We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Puerto Rico in the future.

What can I say, went to the Colina Mar for a week and I wouldn't go anywhere else but here if I went back to Puerto Rico.
Me and my girlfriend both loved staying here as the entertainment and the atmosphere round the pool was superb. Adam the entertainer came out with us most nights and we had a really great time.
The view from the apartments was amazing I could have just sat on the balcony all night and looked down on the whole of Puerto Rico.
Going to try and get back soon, Fully recommend these apartments.

As a couple with a 5 year old son we visited the hotel for a 14 day holiday in early July this year - we had been abroad before but not since Steven was born.
We could not have been happier with this location.
There are 5 on site "looked after cats" - which you rarely see -
Food : this is well prepared - with a good vegetarian selection -
Cleanliness : this is superb both in the restaurant and generally and the rooms are always immaculate
Staff : they are very polite - they go out of there way to please you -
The Entertainment - words fail me here - I can't stop going on about it - they have a man called Adam who was on his own the first week and our second week he was joined by his mate Daniel - it was just tremendous - they were in view from 11am till after midnight looking after everyone of all ages and making sure a smile was on all faces. I took my video camera and looking back at the material was amazed at the tasks that Adam actually was taking on - in his stride I might add. Not only was he training Dan as a great helper - he was a Kids club entertainer and organiser, a quizmaster, a watersport organiser and competitor, a presenter, an operator, a waiter at the barbecue, a kids disco entertainer - every kid loved him - a dancer, a game organiser, a Karaoke presenter, a bingo caller, an MC for the nightly cabaret act, - in fact everything - If you go here you'll love him.
Resume : great family venue my son is still going on about it and pleading to go back.
Would highly recommend this location for a brilliant holiday - we're going back just as soon as we can save up enough money.

both myself and my husband have just returned from our holiday at the colina mar,we found it to be clean ,friendly with beautiful views from the balcony the food was good but if you wanted to eat out there was plenty of resturants to pick from and very reasonably priced too.There were more than enough to do both in the hotel or in the resort itself.We are definately going back next year as itis the best holiday we have ever had but there again I have a small tatoo so it was probably right up my street!

Although by no means the best hotel we have ever stayed in, my girlfriend and I found the Colina Mar very pleasant indeed.
There is a general feeling of friendliness about the place. Although not without faults, rooms could do with a makeover/update, I would be hard pressed to find further faults with the place.
It was clean and the staff helpful and friendly.
The food, although a little repetetive, was exellent and well prepared.
The entertainment programme was outstanding with the entertainers working tirelessly throughout the day and long into the night.
The one downside for us was possibly the location. Having stayed in a more central location previously in Puerto Rico, being so high up on the hill left us feeling a little bit isolated from the busier shopping centre and beaches down below. Having said that, the taxis are cheap (3 euros) and frequent, so no real problem cos theres enough for you to do at the top, although the Europa Centre may be a bit boring for some.
I would recomend this hotel to anyone for value for money.

We have just arrived back from Gran Canaria having stayed in the Colina Mar and what a fantastic 2 weeks we have had, a great family holiday! The hotel is at the top but the views are fantastic. There was different entertainment every night, the two entertainers Adam & Daniel worked non-stop to ensure there was something for everyone. The maid visited our room every other day to clean and was thorough enough. We did see a few stray cats but they were no problem at all, they are common to the whole island as we saw some at the waterpark as well. The food was varied with vegetarian optons and plenty of choice and plenty of it, drinks were not included with the evening meal and did have to be paid for. The kids enjoyed the kids club but the times were a bit erratic and it was hard to keep up sometimes as to what time the clubs were on, would have liked maybe set times everyday. The staff were friendly and worked really hard. I would thoroughly recommend this for a fantastic family holiday you will certainly get fit with all the steps! (there are lifts as well!) 106 from the bottom to top!

Just returned from our holiday at the Colina Mar apartments in Peurto Rico.
The apartment was spotless and fresh on our arrival and it was cleaned every two days during our stay. Bed linen was changed four times whilst we were there.
We were self-catering so didn't really eat in the complex much. However, the food we did have was good but nothing special.
These apartments are situated at the top of a mountain so they are really not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties although the view more than compensated for this - it was spectacular especially at night. The Europa Centre was a short walk away and there are some good shops there. The main town centre and the beach were only a short bus or taxi ride away (fares were really cheap).
Staff at the complex were very friendly apart from one or two of the females in the site Supermarket who were a bit dour and not very polite.
Our group preferred to go to Peurto Rico town centre for entertainment in the evening so we didn't sample much at the Colina Mar. However, entertainment was provided throughout the day by the pool. There was also a kids club as well as live entertainment and discos at night.
Before we went we had heard there were a lot of stray cats but to be honest we only saw three so it definitely wasn't overrun with them.
We enjoyed our holiday so much that we are booking up again for next year.

We stayed at the Colina Mar and was definetly the best holiday ever. The rooms were cleaned near enough every day. There was a great variety of food on offer, the location was brilliant as you were only 2 minutes away from the europa centre which has a great selection of bars and restuarants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainers, Adam & Daniel were brilliant. They would appear at 11am to entertain the kids and would
be on the go until the early hours. They made a point of knowing everyones names and were extremely friendly. The entertainment program had something for everyone. This was the BEST holiday ever, so good that we are going back again this year!

The hotel was great it was really clean. The maid visited daily. The food was really nice and there was plenty of salads and vegetarian dishes on the menu. The location of the hotel was great too. It is situated on a hill and you have a great view in the day and in the night. The hotel staff were really nice too. As to the stray cats they hated them being there and theytried to scare them away. The entertainment was really really good too. Adam, one of the entertainers was really funny and the kids just could not leave him alone. He always found something for the kids to do. Adrian, another of the entertainers was really friendly and nice. Also there was Brandon, who was really nice too (and a good singer). i would defenately visit this hotel again. we only went for a week this time and we thoroughly enjoyed it so we have decided to revisit the colina mar hotel for two weeks next year
