There was the usual beach activities parascending banana boat etc but they were quite expensive there was the usual guys selling cigarettes which are unfit to smoke plus numerous other people trying to sell things they all start off at high prices but you can barter.

Walking round the area it reminded me of the rubbish dumps in England we did find one reasonable restaurant above a go cart track but never saw the go carts in use.

The rooms were very clean, the cleaners work so hard (in a room full of three messy girls they sure made sure that we had a nice clean room to go back too.

the only grumble that i do have is that our conditioning didnt work and in 45degree heat it was very difficult to sit in the rooms or balcony.

The day & evening entertainment was good, they do put in alot of effort in getting everyone involved.

The kids loved every minute....which made our holiday

Hotel was clean, and cleaners were lovely. Entertainment was ok...could have been more varied. and the disco a bit better cause it was never that packed, but we all still managed to have a really good time. the beach was so beautiful!!

Although the hotel is right on the beach you can't enjoy it as the locals harras you constantly trying to sell you things and generally will not take no for an answer the first time.

Nothing in Skanes, hotel isolated, taxi required to go any where. OK for us as only there for a week, so our holiday was centred around the hotel. Hotel was great - Ramada Liberty.

Didn't travel a lot from the hotel did take in monastir town ,the mausoleum shops cafes etc etc some nice things to look at a bit of hassle from vendors but you can expect that when abroad, (just be polite and a firm no works)beaches were lovely the sand is almost white and very powdery (very fine grained).

The water is azure blue and warmer than the hotel pool would you believe, considering Monistir as a whole be open minded and look at the beauty all around its a very nice part of the world and they do strive to keep the place clean and tidy.

As always you will find pockets of neglect and poverty but considering the peoples status it is only to be expected, have visited a lot worse.

Skanes not so much a resort as a beach with hotels. Ramada Liberty is one hotel not situated directly on the beach, although it is just across the road.

skanes is like a war zone, all broken down buildings and empty old hotels close by.
no clubs as such need to go into sousse or monistar. 10 kms away
beach full of round fluffy things from the sea. very soft sand.
would not come here again but will somewhere else on the north or southern area.
