We stayed for two weeks and had a brilliant holiday we took two chrildren aged 8 and 12 there was loads for the kids to entertain them. They loved the pool with the three waterslides there was also two other pools one relaxing and another where all the daytime entertainment happened all the pool areas were very clean.

The hotel is on the seafront with a lovley bathing platform and a bar at each end there are free canoes and pedloes and a speedboat to Bodrum for about

My husband and I stayed at Club Belizia for one week for our honeymoon.

Our first impressions of the reception area were that is was very clean and smart.

Our apartment was lovely, nice and clean and the air-conditioning was excellent also we never saw any mosquitoes in the whole complex. Unfortunately our apartment was right next to the amphitheatre where they have the evening entertainment so music could be hear from 10am till 2am. This was quite annoying and had our holiday been longer we would have asked to move. We did speak with another couple in the same situation who did complain and they were moved immediately.

The staff were very friendly and cleaned the complex day and night.

There are three pools and an indoor pool all of which were very clean. The main pool was quite busy but you could still get a sunbed mid afternoon if desired. We preferred the pool next to the reception as it was quieter.

The food was very good and fresh. There was no problem getting drinks, the late bar that is open till 2am is at the amphitheatre and they never rushed you away, we sat one night drinking with friends and staff till 4am!!!!

It is quite hilly but if you go into the main building you can use the lift to get from reception to the main bar and restaurant.

The evening entertainment was good suitable for people of all ages including families.

Bodrum itself is just a short bus journey away, buses run from the complex every few minutes all day and night and costs about 40p. Bodrum is very beautiful the harbour is nice and the views from the castle are amazing. We went on the millionaire

The hotel is spotlessly clean with maid service every day in the apartments and the pool areas are kept to a very high standard. You could go outside any time in the middle of the night and still find lots of staff cleaning up, washing stairs, round the pool etc. No problems there.

The food was of course buffet style and if you want steak pie and chips (which we didn't) then don't go there. There is a wide variety of dishes each day (repeated on the second week) but the hot dishes are, if you're lucky, lukewarm and mostly verging on cold. Lots of different salad dishes but if you look closely you can see that unused food from the previous day has been turned into a salad dish! There's always a chef outside in the morning cooking either omlettes or crepes or pancakes so these are a good choice and inside the fresh fruit (stacks of melon) is also a good option. Loads of freshly baked bread too. Lunch and dinner were very similar affairs and the restaurant is like a huge noisy school dinner hall. When we booked this hotel it only had a capacity of 600 guests but by the time we arrived it had expanded to around 1500 - big difference and a lot more people to feed ! We did eat out a few times just to get a change, hot food and table service and there's plenty places to eat in Bodrum.

The hotel is situated up a very steep hill behind Bodrum which is only about 10 minutes on a bus which runs every few minutes at a cost of about 48p per person so it's no problem getting in and out of Bodrum. There's only one other hotel up there so there's no all inclusive wristbands that you find at most AI places as they're not likely to have anyone wander in off the street, so no white bits on your wrist when you come home.

The staff at the hotel, and indeed the Turkish people as a whole, are the nicest you'll meet anywhere. They work very long hard hours and still always have a smile for everyone and, apart from the maids, most have enough English to communicate and since we don't have any Turkish at all, I think is pretty impressive. Staff at reception have the best English but "sorry we have no lira" is something they've got used to saying. If you're cashing traveller's cheques there be prepared for them running out of money as it happened to us a few times. You'll get a slightly better rate anyway if you do it in Bodrum but watch for getting ripped off as if you go to the wrong place they know we can't quite get a grip of their millions of lira and we got done a couple of times.

The entertainment in my opinion wasn't great but then some people enjoyed it so all I can say it wasn't my cup of tea. At 9.00pm there's a mini disco for the kids which plays the same songs every night with the animation team leading the organised dances - suppose it's ok if you've little kids who want to do that, but our two 13 year olds weren't up for it ! There's then a show at 10.00pm usually put on by the animation team who, despite trying very hard and some being quite talented dancers, reminded me of a poor Butlins show in the 70s ! Sometimes the entertainment is brought in (Turkish night for example) but the big problem is that the stage is not raised so the only people who can see anything happening is the front row. At midnight the night club opens for a couple of hours which was too young for us (40) and too old for the girls (13). We compromised by letting them go in (no bar in there anyway) when it wasn't too busy as the front is all glass so we could sit outside and see they were ok. The bars outside will serve practically anyone alcohol so watch out for your teenagers who fancy a tipple !

If you want a sunbed then be prepared to get up very early. We had to set our alarm for 6.30am to put towels down and we had a very long walk down and back up an inordinately steep hill to get to the pool. If you're there after 7.30, forget it, you've got no chance. There's also a pool at the top of the complex but it's a lot quieter as the activities all happen at the bottom one but even up there by 8.00am the beds have all been taken.

There is building work going and a few apartments can see it although their view is still a stunning one over the sea and I did hear one or two people saying that the work goes on at night when its cooler and they had been disturbed but generally you won't hear or see anything. The work is nowhere near complete despite my having been told the new pool was complete and only required tiling (ha ha)- by the time this complex is finished it will be excellent but massive. Overall we had a great holiday, but wouldn't go back simply because of the size of the complex - nothing wrong with it just far too big for what we like.

The Turkish Baths at Hammam and the water park at Dedeman are trips well worth taking.

the hotel has been increased from 228 to 424 rooms, so looks nothing like the brochure 2004/2005.overall the scenery is stunning and the rooms very plush, though during our stay not ready. The new pool was not ready and building work was ongoing, with the hotel at full occupancy the facilities limited and very busy.If you are going this summer beware,be prepared for a 20minute queue for your eggs in the morning etc.

As we were leaving more restaurants were opening which will definatley help and the food in general was ok but repetative and often cold.

The dolmus to Bodrum was brilliant and very efficient TL1,2500 about 50p each way and runs every 10mins or so,it drops you outside the market area and behind this is a Tansas supermarket where you can buy water etc.Yes you have to buy your own water as none is supplied in your room unless you pay roomservice prices!which brings me to the food and beverage police who stop you taking food and drink to your rooms so you have to have room service or pay for mini bar!In an AI 4star, in a country where you cant drink the water you were made to purchase water.
went on a trip to Ephesus for the day but however only spent 2-3 hours there and was rushed to a carpet factory to be sold carpets.this little side trip is not advertised..question whether you will be taken.

have quite afew issues with Thomas Cook to resolve ongoing problems with this hotel but am sure that once it is completed and up and running for a year the staff will be better prepared and the facilities able to cope with 1600 guests.

overall i would never return as far too big and a bad experience, but the weather and beautiful scenery helped, atleast they cant mess that up.
