Just back from a wonderful trip to the Gold Coast. We stayed 7 nights for the grand total of $500. We had two double beds in our room and had lots of space. Bathroom a bit small but hey how long do you spend in the bathroom.

Food in hotel very reasonably priced. We ate most mornings in the Buffet for $7 and some evening for $12. We also found drink to be very reasonably priced in the hotel at $10 for 4 bottles of Miller.

Hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the middle of the strip but I must admit we never walked because you have to cross a busy road to get there. However there is a shuttle bus that goes to the Barbary Coast which is right centre of strip every 15 minutes or so and runs until 12am. If you wish to stay out later just pop into Ballys and they run a shuttle bus to the Rio which is right next to the Gold Coast.

The slots in the GC were very kind to us and we came home a few hundred dollars up.

We stayed at the Gold Coast Hotel Las Vegas this year and the place is fantastic. It might not be on the strip but there is plenty to do and the entertainment which is free is great.

The room was cleaned every day which included clean sheets and towels, and the hotel staff are really friendly.

The food is great and really cheap and the graveyard special for $4 you can't go wrong.

The bingo if you like it is a lovely clean bingo hall with free drinks when you are playing and cost around $16 for the two of us.

There is a shuttle bus to the strip which is free of charge and appears about every ten minutes and it takes about five minutes to get to the strip depending at what time you go there.

We could not fault the place and would definitely go back.

If you like a clean hotel and good food this is the one for you

We had previously stayed at the Luxor, which although was fantastic, it was also too big, with miles of walking, so we thought we would try something smaller. Read reports on the Gold Coast so opted for that. Stayed here in December 2004 & again in April 2005.

Small reception with helpful staff. Rooms had all facilities needed, e.g. aircon, hairdryer, large beds, bathroom with bath and shower (although bathroom a bit old fashioned). Swimming pool adequate, with lovely hot tub at the side, a fitness room if you want it.

The buffet is fantastic, quality and value for money, e.g. breakfast usually $6 which includes all drinks and as much as you can eat of ANYTHING, and we mean ANYTHING!!! There
