The resort is on one road called Beach Road and all the bars and restaurants are here. The beach is clean and tidy and has some water sports. Quite a few bars and restaurants are on the beach side which is great for a nice view. The Africa bar is our favourite and its worth a visit. Malia and Hersonossis are within easy reach by either walking or bus. The resort is busy but not as busy as Malia and caters more for couples and families.

We didnt have a lot to do with Stallis or Malia as we loved just staying round our hotel. But if you want pubs, clubs and entertainment then either STallis or Malia is for you

Stalis is a nice beach location, with lots of bars and taverna`s, maria`s golden beach has outstanding food and staff, malia old village has some lovely old bars( basically a house with chairs outside) and some nice tavernas(san georgio) is lovely. hersonnisis is a very busy and lively area with some nice beaches and a nice little harbour, agous nikolous has a buitifull harbour, and if you have time spinalonga(saw some flying fish on the boat trip going to spinalonga) is not to be missed.

Lovely resort, good entertainment for night and day. All restaurants good quality food. Drinks a bit pricey.
Wouldnt vitit again as we prefer to go someone new each time.

Good beaches , clear blue sea and very safe.Plenty of fish for the snorkellers !

The resort of stalis is based on one main road, it is kept clean but suffers from graffitti as does most fo crete.
crete is a beautiful island and its inhabitants are extremely friendly. A must visit is Aghios Nicalaos, Spinalomgs, Knossos palace, rethymno, and Irakeleo.

the beach was very good,the restrants were also good,the resort was upto standard, i have been to this resort twice and would defenately go back again.

the resort of stallis is a great mix for everyone the place is spotless how they do it i dont know the beech was great, plenty of sunbeds and service off the bar owners, plenty of bars for a quiet relaxing drink and people watching and livier ones if you fancy a dance etc, couldnt ask for more from a resort. trip to spinalonga amazing cant wait to return to stallis.

The area in which we stayed was closer to Malia than Stalis. We have to say that despite much of the negative press coverage that Malia has received we did not see any trouble or loutish behaviour.

Stalis is a resort that has everything for every taste.
The beach is usually within easy reach from which ever hotel you are staying in.
Try the Minos restaurant and ask to see the desserts, you're in for a surprise.
Also the Creta Palace supermarket which is owned by a great guy called Costas and is lovely wife.
There are many places of historical and local interest to visit
Always found the local people to be very friendly and helpful, even when trying to speak their native tongue.
Pity something can't be done about the quad amd motor bikes thst make life a misery when trying to walk on the beach road.
Select the time you wish to go very carefully, then you should miss all the brain dead idiots that like to amalgamate in Malia.
