I was not impressed at all with Stalis. Malia was much more lively with lots more to do. The people were alot more friendleer and i would definetly return.

We both love Stalis (have stayed there 3 times) you always meet people who have stayed there loads of times - everybody at the resort is so friendly and the food there is brilliant. Never a bad meal in all the different restaraunts.

The main part of Stalis, is the beach road. this is full of tavernas and bars, some good some bad.
There's entertainment to suit all age groups.
The beach is not the cleanest, when we were there, the waves were great fun.

We found that the costs had gone up greatly since our last visit to the island. The beaches were covered in sun beds and therefore not much room. the seafront road had the shops/bars etc.

stalis is just a short walk under the underpass. there is a road which runs along the beach with bars, restaraunts,shops and small all night bars and music.
it runs in to Malia alough a good walk to get there.
locals are very friendly and speak good English.

This is a very lively resort with numerous bars and tavernas. All have similar choices of food with a good variety and all similar prices. Despite being there in june the bars are very quiet until very late in the evening. Lots of trips to go on and malia is only 25 minute walk away if you choose to visit. Hersonissos is approx one and half hour walk but taxis plentiful. Plenty of Irish bars which are always good fun. Very laid back approach in the town with shops and bars not opening early in a morning but are open very laate at night

Resort bigger than I imagined, would say it was picturesque though did have a lovely beach especially heading along the Malia end.

Stalis is ideal for family holidays with plenty of boat trips to different Islands,Plenty of resturants that never want you to leave by plying you with Raki or Uzo,Our favourate was Minos on the beach road.The beach is first class with plenty of loungers and bars,This was our second visit there and would go back again.

This is a great resort for all ages. Fabulous clean beach where you can either relax and swim or have some watersport fun. Water rides and paragliding going on. Tons of entertainment up and down the resort. Delightful restaurants and Tavernas with many different dishes to suit everyone. Beach well kept and tidy. A resort you could visit again and again.
