The hotel complex was very clean and well laid out. Rooms were cleaned every day except Fridays when we were left with messy beds!
The location was excellent being right on top of the beach, with plenty of shops and good quality restaurants nearby.
We found our room quite small with 2 adults in the bedroom and squeezing a sofa bed and a cot into the living space for the kids. Lots of furniture moving during the day! Perfect if you have no kids though. Our only big complaint was the bathroom which was one of those tiny baths, and once the kids had been bathed there was no hot water for at least 2 hours. Also had to pay for a remote control if you wanted to watch TV.
We would maybe visit again if we get a bigger room.

We were due to stay at this Hotel for 11 nights & arrived at 1.30pm to be told that the hotel was overbooked & they didn't have a room for us. Not impressed at all. They wanted us to move to another hotel for 2 days & then move back here for the last 9 days.
I told them that there was no way I was going to move hotels after checking into one & wanted to stay somewhere for the full 11 nights. I told them that I wanted them to put us somewhere for the duration of our holiday or they put us up from the start. This was refused & I asked to speak to the Manager. She was not in & the deputy manager refused to speak to us as he thought we were being "unreasonable".
I ended up contacting Alpha Rooms who were unaware of the problem but sorted us out with accommodation elsewhere for the full 11 nights. After the treatment we got at reception at this hotel I would never give them the benefit of our custom again. We stayed at the El Duque Aparthotel which was lovely.

Excellent complex - always kept clean and tidy. Many excellent privately owned apartments.
Have stayed here three times now and would go back again without question. No entertainment to speak of on the complex but very close to shops, bars and many restaurants, many of which have nightly entertainment.
Many pools to choose from and always plenty of sunbeds (although these are not very comfy - no pads provided)

Had a disaster and was overbooked in Altamira Apartments (by the way they are superb for couples -no riff raff -lots of proud owners)
In panic rang tourist Board who recommended Lagos de Fanabe - told us they had a room for aweek and we were there in 20 minutes.
Waterfall pools in village settings -lots of quailty time share and owners.
Superb setting -recommended
