Love paphos- beach was a bit stoney and to much sea weed. Loads of great resturants to choose from and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Shame about the open air disco.

Paphos is not a place for a beach holiday, unless you are nearer the Tomb of Kings or Coral Bay. The beaches on this side of the island aren’t as good as the other side. There is however enough to keep you busy and it is fairly unspoilt as a resort although timeshare touts are on the increase. I said to one “people don’t still fall for that do they” to which he replied “you’ll be surprised”. Visit the old town market for gifts and leather goods. There are a number of restaurants but everything is a bit pricy in my opinion, even taking into account the exchange rate. There is a Water Park which looks quite good. It’s a good base to explore the east of the island and worth a visit but probably not a return.

The area of Pafos near the harbour is undergoing a facelift which is bringing it up to a very high standard indeed. Apart from paraphenalia left around areas of roadworks the area was clean, tidy and well lit. There was plenty in the way of archaeology and history to keep us amused in amongst the usual family-orientated entertainments.

We stayed in the St George Hotel in Paphos, which was very nice! Most of our time was spent in the hotel, however we did go on a couple of trips. Harbour area was nice and enjoyed the greek music. Firework cruise was great! Entertainment good too! The only criticism would be the beaches; small and rocky.

Out in the middle of nowhere, so a car is a necessity unless you like sitting in the sun all day long. Lovely sea side location, but no beach. Loved the views and sunset.

Hotel is situated about a 40 minute walk from Paphos harbour. Buses run every 15 minutes. Excellent water park within 15 minutes walk. Rep tried to sell us tickets to water park in Llimosol as supposedly better. We didnt want to sit on a bus for 40 minutes so walked to Paphos water park. It was excellent, 28 euros each and worth every penny. Modern and safe for families.

been to paphos twice before the cleanliness seems to have gone down people are trying hard by the looks of it to keep it going but feels like something is missing

The local beach isn't too good unless for water sports but there are nice beaches a little further walk or bus ride. There are loads of restaurants etc in walking distance but a taxi ride or bus will take you to bar street for good family nightlife with free drinks for kids,2 for 1 cocktails, music and large screen tvs.

I only ventured into Paphos harbour and the market town but enjoyed every moment of it. Though having been to Cyprus before found it to be more expensive since changing to the Euro.
The waterpark in Paphos is a must. Had a superb time when we visited.
