dreams beach is a very nice hotel but i would say it is only a 3 plus not 5 star. The lobby staff where very freindly particularly Islam and Agmed they where always happy to see us and always knew what we wanted to drink without having to ask.The rooms could do with being updated especially the bathrooms but are comfortable and clean. The cleaner came everyday, and for a very small tip(one english pound)left us drinks in the fridge(1 coke 1fanta or sprite and 2bottles of water) Our rooms faced the main pool which we never used as this seemed to be more family oriented and all the activities were held there and we spent our time on the beach which has a quieter pool near by. The beach is manmade and a bit gritty but was ok for having a nice quite relaxing day.The food in main the buffet restaurant is as expected for all inclusive. We ate at the MY PLACE restaurant once which was very nice they have someone playing the piano while you eat I would reccomend this ,you can book to once a week.We also ate at the mexican which I would highly reccomend it cost about 9 english pounds but it is well worth it. WE ate at the loveboat as well but we did not enjoy that and that also cost about 10 english pounds. We did trips to the pyramids and luxor by plane which cost approx 145 english pounds. The pyramids were ok but you get hassled to buy things all the time andcant really take everything in because of this Luxor was better because you dont have people hassling you while your looking at the tombs its as your leaving and we just ignored them. both trips leave the hotel very early(5am) and involve a lot of walking and you dont get back to the hotel till late at night(10.30pm)But all in all we had a great time and would go back again.I would also reccomend you visit the lobby bar at the dreams vacation we spent most of our evenings there and the manager IBRAHAM was a very pleasant man as were his staff

Just arrived back from The Dreams Beach, the hotel is a good three star and is definitely over rated, we have been to Sharm three years running and stayed at the Hilton Dreams and the Rennaissance Golden View Beach Resort and both these hotels knocked spots of the Dreams Beach, its a bit scruffy and could do with a lick of paint, although its sister hotel the Dreams Vacation is newly built and very clean and sparkling, the rooms in the Dreams Beach could do with some updating and the bathroom is pretty poor, while we were there the metal bar on the wall fell off, could have been a nasty accident for someone if they were elderly also one of the knobs on the wardrobe came off and and the screw sticking out scratched my friends arm very badly, when both faults reported the staff just shrugged! no four star treatment at all. Food, you are fine if you like pasta and eggs, there wasnt a lot of choice each day it was some kind of meat dish with potatoes and sauteed veg, a carvery/fish, or pasta, the desserts were great or you could have pancakes or melon every other night, it was very repetitive and is supposed to be themed, we used to try and guess which theme it was as sometimes it was impossible to tell so we would go with International Night again!!. the tea and coffee service is a poor, not sure what the coffee tastes like but as far as the tea goes its a big jug of water with two tea bags swimming around in there tied to the handle so you are fine it is the end of the pot but its a bit weak if you catch him at the beginning of his round if you can catch him at all!!. The pools.. the main one is chaos and not for those looking for a relaxing time as its full of animation staff playing volley ball, football etc, the bottom pool by the Grillhouse is great though, and the drinks waiter does a great job, as far as the Grillhouse restaurant goes, lunch is okay even though its bbq meat, koftas, potatoes and chips every day, we went for the evening meal and it was horrible the koftas and fish were raw, we walked out before dessert, tasteless icecream. The mexican at the Dreams Vacation was one of the best meals we had there though and for

We have just returned from a two week holiday at Dreams Beach Resort, the holiday was fantastic.

Upon arriving we were quickly booked into our room, I have to say that the rooms are in need of a little updating and we did appear to have an ant colony living in the bathroom sink, other than this the rooms were perfectly adequate, very spacious for a couple. The Mini fridge was replenished daily with two small bottles of water and 2 soft drinks, we purchased additional water from the supermarket which is on the complex but you can get water free from all the pool / beach side bars. The air conidtioning in the room worked fine and was much needed as it was very very hot.

The Pool area was lovely, there was entertainment for the best part of the day, normally consisted of Volley ball, darts, archery, music, dancing etc, there is a slide in the main pool for the kids which was overseen by a life guard. We enjoyed the pool bar, life doesnt get much better then sitting in the sun, in the pool, drinking a cold beer.

We generally stayed on the beach, the hotel is set on the top of a cliff, we accesed the beach by, wait for it, 130 steps, however you can access it by a ramp in a different section and then a lesser abmount of steps. The beach itself is sections cut into the cliff face, so its not white side etc. The sea (which is why we went to Egypt) is truely amazing, you access it of a jetty, the one we were close to was partly submerged under the water so as you walk, the fish are swimming about your legs, the water is gorgeous, lovely and warm and the fish are in abundance, Parrot fish, angel fish, the list goes on and on. We brought an underwater camera from one of the shops, its reuseable and cost

We stayed in the Dreams Beach Resort Hotel in August 2007, only plus side was the weather, food very repetitive, entertainment was very poor, this hotel should not be rated 5*, possibly 2*, would not recommend it to anyone, pool was shut for 2-3 hours nearly every other day because adults/children used it as a public toilet! We have never ever encountered this before. If you wanted a sunbed you had to be up at 6.30 in the morning because there were not enough beds to cover the amount of people staying at the hotel. Dreams Vaction was much better, ended up going there to eat most nights, thank god they had a train to take you there, as it was a hike from the Dreams Beach Resort. Definatley would not go back even if it was free.

We have just returned from a 10 night holiday at Dreams Beach Resort. I must admit I was a bit worried about going to Egypt but it was brilliant!

The hotel was great. It had so much to do as you share facilities with Dreams Vacation hotel which is next door. The security is tight so you feel safe. You do get hassled by people trying to sell trips, massages, etc, but if you say no they will leave you alone.

The main buffet restaurant has plenty of choice and there are other restaurants you can book in to. Our favourite was the Mexican - the food was brilliant! You have to reserve it and pay a small charge, approx

Just returned having stayed in the Dreams Beach Resort. What do I say it definately is not 5* more like 3*. The rooms need a little TLC with the bathrooms needing the most work done to them.

The staff are very pleasant. The rooms can be noisy with the noise starting at about 6 each morning. Expect alot of hassle round the pool we had people trying to sell us the same things each day including massages, hairdressing, tatoos, newspapers (which were a rip off), trips and people trying to get you to go to the love boat can get really annoying after a while. Plenty to do.

The Vacations food is much nicer than the Beach Resort have a bigger choice and was much warmer. Take plenty off upset tummy remidies as everyone in our hotel suffered with it.

We have just come back from a week at the Dreams Beach Hotel and have to say that it was Fantastic, this has just been upgraded to a 5 star and worth it.

The hotel is very clean your rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels are given everyday. The hotel itself is spotless they never stop cleaning.

The food is great not only do you have the choice of 5 other resturants but the main buffet is great and a different choice every night, they have special sections on a morning for crepe's and eggs all freshly made and on an evening a pasta and fish section of made to your liking Just be aware of the garlic and you may need to take some stomach tablets as I think they put a lot of spices in things.

Entertainment for adults not great on a evening just one guy who sings the same songs each night but you can get up and join in if you wish. Waiter service is great and a little tip goes along way, all the staff are very friendly and the Grill House was my favourte for dinner and tea.

I would definetly go back again. It was just very HOT!!!!!

We have just arrived back from the Dreams Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh after a two week holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel and facilities are very clean and the hotel apartments are cleaned without fail everyday. The rooms are standard but do have excellent air conditioning which is well needed as Eygpt is the hottest country I have ever visited!

The bathroom is a little dated but is clean and tidy and your towels are changed everyday along with your bed linen. The mini bar is stocked with bottled water and soft drinks and is refilled everyday, if you tip the cleaner you will find that further drinks will be left for you.

The pool and beach area is also very well maintained although the pool area in the Dreams Beach resort can get very busy throughout the day as the main activities take place there such as aqua aerobics, water polo etc... The beach is great is you want total relaxation as several quiet coves can be found.

The sea is very calm and clear and the sea life is absolutely brilliant we saw stingray, barracuda, parrot fish, jelly fish and that was only just off the shore! You have to approach the sea via a jetty as not to damage the coral but we didn't find this a problem.

The all inclusive restaurants within the resort were very nice and we found the food to be excellent with plenty of choice. In the buffets restaurants in the morning you can have fresh omelettes and pancakes prepared for you which were really tasty.

You also have the added bonus of using the facilities of the Dreams Vacation resort which is located next door and is easily accessed.

Although the food was good we only ate in the buffet restaurants four times as we preferred to eat in the other restaurants in the complex as these were quieter. The other restaurants to choose from included a Mexican, Italian, Bedouin Tent and a Steakhouse and all served very good food.

There was a charge for eating in the Mexican, Bedouin and Love Boat but it only worked out to be approx

We travelled to the Dreams Beach resort with out 11 month old son, on recomendation from our travel agent. Well what a waste of time and money.

The hotel itself was not bad but should be at the very most a 3 star rating not the five as advertised. Our room was very basic and bathroom was very dirty, and full of cockroaches, although i didnt know about that until we came home because my husband did not tell me this until we were back in the uk.Our mini bar was filled with 2 small bottles of water, 1 coke and 1 lemonade. if we asked for any further water we had to pay for it, which obviously with a baby we needed a lot more. The air conditioning broke three times and indeed became very hot in the bedroom. We where provided with a cot but my husband had to fix this twice. There are no facilites for children under the age of 5, not even a changing mat.

The food was very boring and warm, needless to say every one you spoke to had bad stomach upsets. The mexican restaurant is amazing, for

We stayed at the Dreams vacation one week before Xmas. The hotel was decorated for xmas, snowmen and father Christmas's in a boat floating round the pool. The trees were decorated with lights and looked very pretty.

We were all inclusive and the food was great. The Andlucia was my least favourite resturant, and the Mexican and grill house were my favourite. You had to pay extra for the Mexican but for
