Would not recommend Jimmys to anyone who wanted to be near the life, it is a good half hour walk down a very busy road to get to the livlier parts! we were in the old block (which is not shown on the Thomson pages) it is badly in need of updating. The maid was surly, and all she did was tidy the beds and pull the shower curtain across?? she always left all doors wide open for some reason.... anyone could have gone into any apartment... for some reason she used my toilet rolls and my washing up liquid to "clean" the apartment!!??
Jimmy was fine with anyone who spent lots on Euros at his place but didnt have time for those who didnt spend there.
Would not go there again.

travelled to Jimmys for yet another holiday in June and September 2009. Jimmy and his family always make you welcome they are very friendly. The food is very good, the grounds are very good, the apartments are lovel and clean the pool area is gorgeous and very well looked after. The bar is extremely friendly and the BBQ nights are an absolute must - fantastic food (buffet) great fun quiz and killer pool. Definately going back to Jimmys for our holiday in 2010 - can't wait

This is the best place you could wish to stay.
The staff are all ways friendly and welcoming what ever time you turn up. We have been back there about 10 times now have met some very nice people over the years and stay in with them we would like to meet again
The place is clean and maid is very good
Entertainment is from the staff they always have time for a chat and other holiday makers
There are better beaches if you have a car or other transport

My wife and I spent two weeks at Jimmy' Apartments in July 09, when we arrived I must admit it seemed well looked after and quite pleasant.
Jimmy's sits on the outskirts of Sidari and you have a bit of a walk to get to the livelier part of town.
Jimmy's wife and daughter are very pleasant but I am afraid Jimmy won't suffer fools gladly, Mick the barman was quite friendly and can be a laugh at times.
Unfortunately Jimmy's has the maid from hell and while we resided there on holiday practically everyone complained about her and her attitude towards holiday makers.
The word on the street is that Jimmy has employed this grumpy old woman for years and won't get rid of her.
This is Jimmy's failing, he needs to employ someone who can smile and clean at the same time.
No toilet paper provided for 1,700 quid thought that was a bit of an eye opener
The Thomson's rep [Amy]asked if we had any comments to make but a previous comment explained she was shouted at for braking a stool and wouldn't get to leave the country .
Went to Jimmy's barbecue and and must say I was very impressed well cooked food and tasted lovely.
Felt Jimmy could use his reception area a bit better as it is cool and could be turned in to a small tv room as they aren't keen to turn over the tv's from the sport channel in the bar area, feel Jimmy could also install Internet at least one as the youngsters / teenagers would use it on a regular basis.
By the way beware of the Corfu Mosquitoes as they love to have a bite on British holiday makers, my wife ended up at the Sadari surgery 75 Euros for the fist visit and 60 Euros for the second and the doctors report.
They aren't keen to sell you medication at the chemist and tell you to go to the doctors, I wonder why !!!!!!!
Boots after sun mosquito repellent seems to work a treat and some avon spray? during the day which they don't like seemed to do the trick.

Stayed for a week and had 2 rooms due to size of family. Jimmy and staff were very friendly and humorous. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, yes maid does look grumpy but I found that when I ventured a good morning in greek I received a smile and good morning back. She doesn't speak English! However she did accuse us of taking a towel on the day we left which we hadn't as it was in the other room, but the misunderstanding was cleared up quickly.
Would highly recommend the bbq night.. lovely food and good company, killer pool and quiz was great fun!!
Everyone was very helpful and the pool and facilities were very clean. We would definitely go back!!

Jimmy's apartments were excellent and one of the best places we have ever stayed. The room was very clean and spacious,maid service every day and sheets and towels changed during our one week stay. The balcony was in the shade which was bliss as it helped keep the room cool. Air conditioning was available but we did not need to use it,even though it was very hot. Our only niggle was that the bed's were very hard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was very good. The pool and the whole area were spotless and well looked after. The gardens were watered every night by Jimmy and were beautiful. Jimmy's is very well situated,supermarket 2 minutes walk away and very close to places to eat but far enough away from the noise. First Choice and Thomsonfly were excellent,friendly and very well organised. One hour transfer both ways which was great. Corfu airport,although small was very well organised and efficient. Overall a fab holiday,happy memories and a big thankyou.

Stayed at Jimmys apartments, and will go back it is truly the best holiday I have ever had.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Alex (Jimmys Son) He was extremely friendly, he carried my mums case up the stairs for us, and even though it was quite late on offered us directions on the nearest shop for provisions.
The next day we met Jimmy and he is truly a lovely bloke, always quick to give you a smile and a wave - on my last day he gave me a hug and a kiss.
The pool area is fantastic and I never felt as though I had to buy food or drink from there.
Mais service everyday, sometimes a little annoying, when your hungover, but at least we had a clean room.
Sure we had to buy our own loo roll, but we are self catering and most places in greece tend to be similar.
The bar and food are extremely competitively priced with town.
Alex the bloke who works in the bar is ace, extemely good english, kept the bar open until you were ready to leave and if your glass was empty never pressured you into buying another drink - not that mine ever was. It is actually cheaper to drink in the bar than in town.
During my 2 week stay I never encountered anything but warm friendly people. I enjoyed my stay so much that as soon as I got off the plane, well within 24 hours, I re booked another week in September 08, cant wait for the next lot of memories.

I'd like to keep this as simple as possible- Jimmy, Alex and family were simply wonderful, the appartment was kept spotless, the host extreemly welcoming and remained so througout our weeks stay. The atmosphere was fantastic within the complex, other visitors contributed to a brilliant week too. We would reccomend Jimmy's Appartments to all and would like to thank Jimmy and his family for contributing to such a great holiday in such a wonderful part of the world. Sidari, although a little quiet at the start of the week as it was very early on in the season, is such a welcoming and warming place, the locals were wonderful, the scenerey beautiful and the excusions a must. Corfu town is beautiful- though be sure to head into the main shopping street and book your excursions there for best prices. Quite simply my best holiday. Thank you Jimmy & Family, and to the lovly people of Sidari. Treasured memories. PS, you may with to bare in mind it's an appartment, once the loo roll runs out you can buy your own from one of the 2 markets at the end of the rd- the one closer to the petrol station is slightly cheaper. Go and stay at Jimmy's!!!!!!!

Best holiday So far. Had a great time and made many friends at the hotel. The food in the bar was excellent. Espically Toast mans toast ;). The chef was incredibly good looking and had a hot bod! His Chicken Slovaki was the best food i have ever eaten! Jimmy the owner was a nice man although slightly stressy at times! When i accidently droped my drink on the road outside the apartments, Jimmy came along and shouted at me, making me feel ever so embarresed and ashamed. Also one morning me and my friend went for breakfast and around 3 hours later went back for lunch. when ordering our meal jimmy said 'Havnt you just eaten? Surely you cant be hungry again?' After this comment from the owner me and my friend felt really embarresed and felt we werent welcome to eat there! But apart from a few occasions of upset i had one of the best holidays of my life and really recomend you go to corfu and stay in Jimmys apartments. I am deffinatley going back in the future! Thank-you for a great holiday. I Cannot wait to see you all again! Love You all And see you soon. x x x x x
