The resort centres around the main road which leads to capital Argostoli which is within walking distance ( over a hill!)
Plenty of retaurants to choose from. Prices were comparable with UK prices.Most places doing happy hours until 9pm when drinks were reduced bt up to 1 euro.
Some lovely beaches. Platis yiallos was our favorite, but Makris yiallos was the most popular.
There are also smallr beaches dotted around resort.

It's about a 5 minutes walk up a hill to Lassi's main street. Not too strenuous. Lassi itself is pretty low key, or there's a 20 min walk or a 6 Euro taxi ride to Argostoli.
Beaches are all great - clean, clear water, loads of good snorkelling.
Average prices around the place in Lassi are about 2.5 to 3 Euros for a large beer, 2.5 to 3 for a soft drink, and anything from about 4.5 upwards for a cocktail.
We went to the "So Simple" bar quite a bit. Very friendly and great service.
Argostoli can be a bit of a rip off if you're not careful - we bought 1 large been one small beer and two cokes in a place in the main square and paid over 15 Euros!!

Lassi is a very relaxing resort with great beaches and a good choice of good restaurants. If you are looking for a lively night then I would not recommend the resort. If you are looking for a good base from which to visit the island then Lassi ticks all the boxes, even if it is purpose built.
Monte Nero and Oskars resturants are well worth a visit!

Lots to see and do, but would probably hire a car next time as the tours only give you a taster of a place. Would shop around for the tours as the local firms were better priced.

there are some beatiful beaches not that far you need a car to get to certain beaches we visited quite a few our favorite was the beach in petami amazing views to it from the top as you drive down .the beach is pebbles but ok to lie on amazing fish to see if you like snorkling very quite water is very clear /also went to sami again pebbles but lovely place /poros didnt like to much not very good beach nothing to rteally see there /skala very nice place beach was sand and lovely /lourdata was nice went on day sea was very rough couldnt go in but looked nice area /went to beach by airport ames beach was not the best but great for snorkling and was very quite sand beach hardly anyone goes on it /all in all was beatiful place drove a lot of miles sightseeing .also visited droggatti cave amazing inside costs 5 euro adults and 3 euro under 12 under 5s was free /our second time there will go back again in a couple of years as nothing had changed in the previous 2 years we went .

The beach at Makris Giolos was fantastic, easy to swim in and comfortable sun loungers with umbrellas. The resort was stretched out along one main road with plenty of restaurants but limited number of bars. Try the Butler's House restaurant as this was excellent!! And then hit the So Simple bar next door for the warmest welcome from Yannis and his wife. Lovely people.

I have been to lassi once before and it has everything I wanted out of my holiday. Im not interested in noisey bars so the quiet relaxed nature of Lassi and Kefalonia in general was lovely. Some people dont like lassi as its a purpose built resort but all the other towns dont have much choice of tavernas.
Beach is beautiful and has a few watersports if you are interested in that.
Nice Beach restaurant owned by the people who run the Marianna Studios, very tasty reasonably priced food.
