My 2 friends booked a holiday here and asked me to go with them. When they asked if I could stay in their room I was charged 200 euros for a camp bed that had seen better days.
The manager was very ignorant and unhelpful. When you got a shower the water flooded the bathroom and came into the rest of the apartment. The used toilet paper wasnt emptied everyday so we had to use toilet in corridor. We had to go out and get bleach to put down the drains as they smelt.
It was the worst holiday I have ever had and I thought I should let people who are thinking of doing what I did to watch out.

me and my friend sarah booked our holiday to zante and couldnt wait to get there!
when we did we were made to wait about 10 mins outside in the sweltering heat while the manager was serving behind the bar. when we were then given out room we had to PAY EXTRA for air con and a safty box for pasports and money and stuff. we couldnt have last the week with out ait con!
When we got into our room it stank! my friend sarah also had to clean human excrement off our floor aswell. god knows how it got there.
The people who had the room b4 us stuff was all still there and there rubbish still in the bins! The 2 Cups we had werent washed nor was the pans.
the bed was horrible and only 1 sheet was provided. the towles were stained and gray. (even though there ment to be white)!

I booked this trip last minute,i have travelled alot and when i got to the hotel i thought oh my god, we had to wait outside as the room was not ready, when we got to the room i thought it was quite big but all there was was a fridge and a cooker ring.No tv or nothing. They had turned the fridge off to defost but did not tell us so our room was soaked with water!! we had to pay 25 euros for a safe which looked so old. The noise at night times when people were coming in from there nights out was terrible.The staff at the hotel were really friendly,towels,beds and toilet roll is never changed we had one roll for the week!! i dont think i would go back to the hotel again.The rep is a waste of time and unprofessional.

Hotel not one of our best choices, but pool was lovely. Room realy nice, cleanliness not up to scratch. Towels were not changed enough, bins not emptied as should be.
Don't realy think we would stay there again. Rep didn't seem to know a lot.

There was 7 of us who stayed at the garden palace last week, we had the best holiday of our lives, the hotel was brilliant the staff were really friendly and we got to know them really well,felt very secure staying there yannis (the owner) is a legend and looked after us.
only fault was you do not get clean towels as often as you should.
Food at the bar was nice , 2 mins away is a really nice english place called captain morgans which give really good portions.
We would rate garden palace 10/10 only a short walk to the strip unless you walk the long way, plenty of taxis for 6 euro.
Beach is nice water shallow and only 2mins away.
We would deffo stay here again.

The hotel was well cleaned, relaxing, child friendly, and the swimming pool was a nice size. The idea of self-catering wasnt the best but the food served in the bar was fantastic, i had nearly the same burger every day. the distance from the taverna's and clubs were'nt too far but far enough that you could take your children back and they wouldnt be woken by the noise. The hotel staff were very polite, (and little denise):-). the entertainment was more for adults than kids but they quizzes were anjoyable. I would visit this hotel again but would take more people and would reccomend this to any type of family from elderly familys to young couples with small children.

Me and my mate stayed here in September and loved it. The apartments were really clean. The location was brilliant for what we wanted, to be near the bars/clubs but far enough away not to hear them!! The staff were lovely. Many a late night/early morning chat was had with Yannis and Akis!!
The beach was literally round the corner and it was a nice walk along there to the main strip (only not when wearing heels!!).
We've both said we'd definitely go back and take more of our friends with us when we do!

I would give this hotel a definite 10/10
To start with, the hotel itself is lovely, really nice pool that is very clean with plenty of sun beds for everyone.
They have a really nice pool bar that serves food in the day as well, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. All the staff are very, very friendly but do not stand for roudy groups of lads etc (which is understandable really) it is not an 18-30's hotel, however it does have young people in (we were 18 when we went and there were a mix of ages there) The hotel bar was open 24 hours, so you got to know the owners.
The rooms were basic but good enough, however I didn't like the bathroom...but then I have very high standards.
What was also good about the hotel, was that it was still near 'the strip' but was a good 10 mins walk away, which was ideal as there were many restaurants and bars on the way there.
The beach was also 10 mins walk away, so the location was ideal.
Our holiday reps from Kosmar were lovely too, they made our holiday, I would recommend going on the boat trip to see the caves, it was a lovely day!!

the garden palace is a fantastic family run hotel yannis akis athena olga denise and peter are all one family they cook clean and run the hotel at avery high standard you have every thing on the doorstep wehave been going to the garden palace for five years we have enjoyed every holiday i have recently had a leg amptated but it wont stop us going back this year mick tyneside
