as soon as we arrived we found the standard of the rooms to be very poor
we payed for a 4 bed apartment and received a 2 bed room with two beds in the kitchen area
the pool was totally disgusting with black slime in the gullies around the pool
and to our amazement the hotel staff were jet washing these gullies direct in to the water
we had to use another pool a short distance away and pay for this as we did not want our children using the hotel pool
we also had raw sewage in the rooms after a blocked drain
the entertainment was non existent

The hotel is very big but runs very well.The rooms are very basic as we expected.There is air conditioning which we were told there wasn't it was five euros a day.The pools are kept very clean but i don't feel the chlorine is distributed evenly so levels very high first thing.The location is fantastic very close to beach and brilliant restaurants.The entertainment is great George does a fantastic job.The reps were brilliant,nothing was too much trouble.My only complaint was the noise of people arriving in the middle of the night, staff cleaning rooms at three am and people's footsteps above.I would reccomend asking for the top floor.We had a fantastic holiday.

Myself and my best friend book a last minute holiday and it was absoutley fantastic, i've been on hundreds of holidays abroad (as my mum owned a travel agents) but this was definatley the best by far. We were both 18 and there was plenty to to with great weather. Would recommend to anyone even families with young children as it is a very safe area.

I love this hotel not been in a while but my auntie went last year. the staff are really friendly and friendly towards kids as well which is really important the location of the hotel is very good as it is close to quite a few shops and it is also close to the beach. it has lots of different kinds of entertainment like greek dancers, kareoke nights, and cross dress nights. they also have a club for the kids to go to during the day. i was supposed to be visiting again this year but due to the credit crunch i now cant. cant wait till im able to go again though

The Admirals..where do I begin?
Well, we arrived at the hotel on time, bearing in mind we had been up since 2 to get to airport and get checked in, and when we arrived at the hotel we had to wait an hour and a half as our room wasnt ready. Being very tired and restless we decided to get a drink, only to be told it was too early to have a Bacardi Breezer!! When we finally got our room key and entred our room and nearly slipped over due to maids not drying the floor!
This hotel is awful I would never recommend it to anyone! Inflatables scattered everywhere, children running around and screaming all day/night.
We didnt spend one night or one day at this hotel which made the holiday fab!

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff.
The apartments were very clean and tidy and the cleaners came round every day with clean towels etc.
The swimming pool was kept clean and to a high standard, the pool side has plenty of deck chairs and parasols.
For those who are self catering, between 09.00am 21.00pm you can get yourself some nice snacks near the pool area including a nice fried breakfast,
The hotel is approx 5mins from the beach, and you have a great choice of taverna's on the doorstep.
Entertainment is good but can take a while to get going sometimes, George the entertainer is great laugh, and will give you a good night of fun.
I will most definitely be coming back to this hotel again simply because friendliness and cleanliness was to a high standard

Not a good first impression at this hotel.
We got there in the afternoon to be greeted by loads of ants crawling on the floor as well as the work surface and the cupboards. We asked reception if they could move us to another room. They said that there was nothing they could do really as ants were all over the place. We understood this but did not really want them crawling in the cupboards where our food was to be stored. Reception came up after about half an hour with some Raid ant spray. However within a few hours the ants were back.
Lost count of how many of the creatures I killed in our weeks stay. Saying that the hotel was in an ideal spot. Not far from the beach and far enough away from the night life.
Although the season had only just started so it was faily quiet anyway. As with most places the bathroom facilities are very basic. Our room consisted of a bath which was actually half the size of a normal bath so you could only really have a shower. It had a raised part so you could sit down but not lie down. Kitchen facilities very good. We had cooker, toaster and loads of plates cutlery. However we ate out most times anyway.
There were plenty of families there with children so seemed an ideal place for families to stay/mix as it was close to everything.
We would certainly go back to Tsilivi but not this hotel. I have stayed in better 3 stars.

We loved this hotel! Although going at the start of the season there was enough going on to keep everyone entertained.
It was in a perfect location, near enough to the beach and far away enough from the noisy bars. It is worth mentioning to go up the road to Friends bar, the best bar in Tsilivi!
We are definitely thinking of coming back. x

We benefited from the fact that we visited the Admirals at the end of the season, so it wasn't that busy. I'm not so sure we would have enjoyed ourselves as much had it been high summer.
We had a quiet room in the corner (as requested), with a good view of the pool area.
John & Elvis the barmen and George the entertainer looked after us really well and they were all great fun. The Thomas Cook Reps were very professional and friendly and every one of the Greeks we spoke to made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The maids visited us every day, cleaning and providing fresh towels and sheets (1 change halfway through the week). We would stay at the Admirals again.

We went to Zante at the start of October, which meant it was not to busy!! The Hotel itself was amazing.
It was spotless and the maids came in everyday to clean up and give us fresh towels.
The Entertainment was great day and night! Don't know where George gets all his energy from.... he was great with both adults and children getting them involved in all the entertainment. I really enjoyed the Zante swing night!!
John the Govan bar man was great and he knew how to pour a guid Red Vodka!!! Shrew, Elvis, Aldean and the rest of the staff were a great laugh and did a 1st class job.
The location is great as it is close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
It was spotless and the maids came in everyday to clean up and give us fresh towels.
