Nice resort, very busy and lively in the summer. As all you need restaurant and bar wise!!

I would go back to the Costa Brava. We only went on the beach once because it was too hot. But the beach was great.
Llorret is only about 2 min walk away, you go under the bridge and walk straight.

Had enough shops and restaurants in the area - which is good for if its too hot to walk. Food is hit and miss - mostly toasties, or everything comes with chips (fries) - try pasta if you like a change. Little supermarket 5 mins walk away. Beach is close - but it 'burns and scratches' due to being a shingle beach so we stayed by the pool. Main resort is only a short walk away. Best to go out after midnight as its quiet before this time. Lots of pubs and clubs to try - my advise is to just smile and take the leaflet - then walk away - cause my friend was a bit blunt and I got shot with some sort of potato gun as we were crossing the road - I'm sure they were aiming for her!Water park is a good day out for getting a tan and splashing about - we left our flip-flops in the lockers - which was a big mistake as the floor is hot hot hot - and it burns and scratches!! Busy roads so use the crossing. No problems with the resort - felt safe and nice for strolling around.

Found cleanliness very good streets cleaned and washed every morning.
Only restaurents as you are off the main centre of Llorret go to centre and you will find more than enough.
Could not fault the local beach and also the larger beach.

We found the resort to be clean and felt very safe out at night.
As we had 2 children aged 6 & 8 we mainly stayed at bars/cafes at the beach front in Fenals or at the Spanish bars. We also enjoyed the old town of Lloret and would spend an hour or two people watching. The old town was good for shopping too. There are plenty of discos for the 18 - 30 holiday makers.
We enjoyed the beach, but found that it got deep very quickly, and was very busy.
This was our 4th visit to the Costa Encantada and we have already book for next year!!!!

Llorett de Mar is a very busy resort and I would say it is mostly for young teenagers with lots of disco's to go to.

Closest town is Fennels, loads of Asian shopkeepers, luring you in, they make you be rude to them in order to escape!
Beach is nice in Fennels with Ferry boats arriving frequently, watch out for the jelly fish, also, the sand is wierd, like grit, but clean and clear sea and a lifeguard!
Lloret beach is ok but more crowded, and plenty of shops, take care at night, after about 9.30pm the streets are full of people trying to get you into bars and it is so crowded on the streets you can easily lose kids/granny!

Lloret is looking a bit tired and run down in parts.
Probably great if you are in the 18-30 group as there are plenty of clubs but not much else other than shops which sell tacky souvenirs and knock off barcelona footie shirts.
Waterworld is excellent but very hilly. Free bus to it can get very crowded.

Clean in some ways but in others watch where you walking(woof woof) if you get my drift.
Entertainment plenty, food much the same in most restraunts, fish expensive.
Pizzas to suit the kids. Beach lovely tiny pebbles which i prefer due to hating sand!!! Never spent so much time on a beach, and a beautiful breeze, which we needed it was in the mid 90's !!
we cannot wait to go back, we are well travelled but loved Loret/fennels.
