The Hotel was very clean. Everyday they cleaned the room and it always looked spotless.
The food was lovely. A different variety of foods to choice from. We managed to try a few and loved everyone we tried.
The location of the hotel is very handy. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Bars, clubs, restaurants and shops all outside the hotel across the road. Which I thought would be quite noisy but it wasn't at all!
The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and friendly. We all loved them.
The entertainment was good. Not their strong point but in the day there were alot of activities for many age groups. The animation team worked all day and night to make sire we enjoyed are selves and we did.
I would definitely book this hotel again. Well saying this I have, for December, and we can't wait!

Stayed in the Hemera apartments. They were cleaned daily, and had fresh towels daily. Resturant very clean, and food was well presented, and delicious. Also had a lovely garden party once during our stay.
Location was good, a nice stroll into side along the beach. Hotal very secure, and safe.All of the staff was very friendly, and efficient, and well presented. Animation team very good.
It was our second visit to the Hemera,wanted to go again in 2006, but left it too late and it was fully booked, hope to return 2007. Excellent holiday all round. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Hemera in a 2-bed apartment which was extremely clean and spacious. The 2-bed apartments are split over three floors with air con in all rooms and two balconies. The hotel itself is set in very pretty gardens with a pathway down to the beach.
The meals in the main restaurant were okay ... the food tended to be geared to the mainly German clientele ... we ended up eating out quite a lot which we don't normally do when on AI. The meals were quite repetitive. We ate at the Turkish a la carte which although a set menu was excellent. There was also a fish a la carte but we didn't think our children would appreciate a set fish menu.
The staff were very friendly and attentive and overall we enjoyed our stay here. Our only problem was with the hotel-run kids club. This was something we specifically required but the kids club at the Hemera was extremely disappointing.
They had two sessions per day for two hours but there was no signing in procedure and on one occasion we found our daughter wandering around the pool as she had been sent by the mini-club rep to get her swimwear.
The children were just allowed to wander off which seemed unacceptable.

What a fantastic holiday I had!
Hotel - Lovely and spotless, maid in every day. Minibar - with soft drinks in, in room replenished every day.
Food - brilliant with a good variety every day. You can eat at this hotel nearly all day and night!
Drinks - Even branded drinks behind the bar Gordon

Having read previous reviews we were very excited about going to the Hemera. However, although the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly, a week was long enough.
The holiday brochure gives the impression that it is set apart from other hotels when in fact it is sandwiched between two other hotels and the beach front consists of just one hotel after another.
The main disappointment was the food and range of drinks. The food, although plentiful became very repetitive after a couple of days with little variation. The range of drinks was also limited. However, you would never go hungry here as food was available pretty much 24 hours a day!
Another thing that was irritating was pressure from the animation team to join in group events all the time - whether it was volleyball, boules, etc. All we wanted was a bit of rest and relaxation!
When we were there I would say 95% of the guests were German, hence everything was geared towards them. All the staff were great though - from the bar staff to the waiters - they couldn't do enough for you.
All in all we enjoyed the holiday although it wasn't quite what we expected.
We wouldn't go again though.

Everything about this hotel is Excellent, food, cleanliness,staff extremley friendly go out of their way to help.
rooms very spacious couldn't fault anything.

Fantastic hotel we couldn't fault anything apart from the Germans who hogged the sunbeds on the beach but we should be used to that.
Food was excellent very good choice.
Rooms very spacious and extremely clean.
Location very good.
Staff very friendly at all times and they work very long hours.
Animation team very good fun.
Brilliant holiday hopefully go back next year.

The Hotel rooms and cleanliness is brilliant! really beautiful rooms in Hemera.
The food is amazing!!!!!!!

The hotel rooms were large and kept spotless by the army of cleaners, which were always cheerful and could not do enough for you. The food was excellent and even the fussiest eaters were catered for. The hotel is located 3Km from Side and can be reached by walking along the beach approx 25min. dolmush and taxi. As I was in a group of 6 we went every where by taxi. Side cost
