The best rooms to stay are typically the ones that are located nearer the strip. Like Nefeli for example. It was 2 minutes from the night life but when you wanted to recover it was also out of the way, sharing a personal swimming pool with neighbouring ho

Make sure you buy or have air conditioning when you go.
A lot of great places and bars to visit within 15mins walking distance. Gets very hot alot of people tend to hire quad bikes to get around.

Malia itself...wickeeeeed!
Nightlife is amazing...bar after bar affter bar down the strip with plenty of dancefloors in each and clubs to end your night. Plenty of restaurants to go and eat in the day and supermarkets to buy your basics. Just beware of the PR's they will try and get you to go into their bar, give you a deal of say 2 drinks (anything u want) for 5 euros and a shot for free..if they say this, go in with the PR too make sure u get this deal else you wont get it! O and if ur not interested just walk off, they tend to grab u and start a conversation with you, anything to get you too go in.. so just walk off and say no :) you cant exactly do every bar and club in malia :P

malia is lovely. drinks are cheap and the people are lovely. the roads in the day time are manic though so becareful.

Amazing resort! Bars were fantastic and the PR's for the clubs are a right laugh and lovely! Everyone is very friendly and helpful!
The resort was always really clean at night we would go in and see bottles and fast food wrappers on the floor and in the morning its spotless again!
The beach was nice but sunloungers everywhere, and where the sunloungers stop the sea begins! Free sunloungers which is a bonus however!

The resort is lively, noisy and brilliant!!!! what more could you want!! It is full of groups of lads and girls. Everyone dresses up on a night so would recommend taking plenty of fancy dress with you!! The beach was great clean and you dont even have to go to the bar as someone is there to get your drinks for you!!

Plenty of bars and clubs all with free entry however no real superclubs. PRs are extremely annoying and will try every trick in the book.
People were generally very friendly. Prices roughly the same as the UK.

There was a vast choice of clubs bars and restaurant's. the resort was clean with good beaches.

Everything else was just fantastic only a short walk to the Beach Road which is never ending and if you go right to the very end you end up in Malia we did this which took us about an hour in total. Or you can turn right instead to Hersonissos and visit Star Beach which made a change from Stalis Beach, there's lots of water sports if your brave enough we had a go on the parasailing what a fantastic experience worth 50 Euros. Also we went on the Happy Train to Krassi up in the mountains again it was fantastic the views were breath taking.
The beaches where lovely crystal clear sea and golden sand. We found it more expensive then the last time we went to Greece which was 2 years ago and there wasn't as many offers on the drinks as before. We found a good selection of restaurants and bars you get a bit fed up of been dragged in but just politely tell them 'no thanks' don't stop to have a look at the menus otherwise they won't leave you alone. It's hard to recommend a bar or restaurant as everyone has different tastes. We liked it in the Cocktail Lounge it was 7 Euros for x2 Sex On The Beach and you could taste the alcohol in them unlike in some bars were they just tasted like a glass of fruit juice.
We went along to see Will Powers the hypnotist how funny, I think my other half thought that he had hypnotized me but I just found his voice sexy..Lol. He does shows at Robin Hood and the Fox and the Hound. Worth a visit.
