I found the area on a whole, very clean and often saw the dustcarts out at night quietly collecting the rubbish.
There is plenty going on in the resort if that's what you are looking for most of it in the Port area or the Bellvue area.
The beach was always very clean when I went on it, though my friends went down one evening with their son and he managed to tread in dogs mess on the sand (obviously the owners fault). I'm not one for beaches but this is ideal for children as the water is so shallow for such a long way out.
I will definitely be back to Alcudia, I'm hooked!

A good beach holiday resort. The port area and the BelleVue ends of town providing what my children called 'the Blackpool' experience and the area inbetween mainly being individual hotels or appartments with a lovely beach.
The beach itself is very clean with ample loungers/parasols, kiosks and toilets.

Alcudia is a great resort the beaches are beautiful the sand is really soft and the sea almost warm. The port is lovely to walk around all really clean and tidy.
We did find things like drinks and icecreams, some gifts quite expensive but it was the same where ever you went.

Alcudia had two halfs, walk to the beach and turn left, this side is more cosmopolitan and good for couples

Alcudia is Fab especially if you have kids everyone has children here. Beautiful Beach and you could walk on it without it burning your feet which was fab. Walked For Miles Somedays. Beautiful Boats, Lovely Bars and Restaurants. It was a festival when we were there so even better. Has the odd timeshare reps just said not interested and they were on there way. Overall go back to Alcudia in a minute.

Alcudia is nice enough and i had always wanted to go there as i had been to other resorts on the island but not there.
As we were at the Port end you could se a sort of power station and a dock for bigger vessels. Not ideal although maybe i'm a bit fussy.
A typical spanish resort but have experienced better with less travelling to get there. I found the people vert freindly and helpful

Very clean and quiet resort at Playa De Muro but loads of shops and resturants around if you walk. Half hour walk to the Bellvue area which is busier or a 6 euro to the Port of Alcudia which was nice. Eating out was a bit expensive and drinks out too. Would go back to Muro.

Lovely beach and marina. Old town is well worth a visit - a real step back in time. Took us a while to get our bearings as the resort is split up but we really enjoyed it and would return.

we dident leave the hotel much as it was so hot in the 40s! but when we did found resort fine
