this resort is ideal for families with 2 or more children very close to the beach with another even better 10 minuets away excellent clean beaches ,the resort entertainment is very good at sa calets playa which is ongoing all night ,i would go back again only better prepared as there was only 3 local supermarkets and 2 pubs a handful of restaurants ,only problem was nowhere to exchange notes into coins for the kids slot machines ,hence a ten minute walk not suitable for the children so adults have to go there to keep kids in plenty of supply of coins

the resort itself is very quiet and there is nothing there at all unless you walk for about 30 minutes or catch a bus. the only entertainment was in the hotel. we tried the steakhouse a few times which we enjoyed and they have a t.v there showing disney films for the children they all enjoyed that. there is a chinese round the corner and that is good and quite reasonable.we found though that we couldnt get a full english breakfast near us and for this we had to walk into cala blanca which is about 30-40 minutes away but at least there you have a choice of a few more shops and restaurants.
the beach was ok but very small but there is a bigger one about 10 minutes away (near the steakhouse)
i personally wouldnt go there again as the resort was too quite for us as we like to get out and about a bit and try different places, but the complex is lovely and all credit goes to alberto and emilio who make you enjoy being in the same place at night.
the kids enjoyed it but felt the same as us about the location. they did enjoy the magic show, the parrot show and the flemenco dancers and really loved the pool
hope this helps you and have a good holiday

Cleanliness: Good standard of cleanliness.

Resort Entertainment: Very very low key. A few restaurants and same for bars. Ideal for us, but may not be to everyones taste.

Beach Standard: Excellent but small beaches in the area. Very safe water for the kids, it that it is not deep until very far out.

The beach is down a few steps at the end of the hotel complex and is suitable for children with shallow water, sand and plenty of rocks for crabbing etc. Loads of fish to watch or try and catch too. The beach isn't for the exclusive use of the hotel though and can get crowded. Small, but has everything you could want in a beach. Sun beds and umbrella are 10 euros a day.

The resort is very small with only a couple of shops and a handful of restaurants. My children much preferred the Ocean restaurant - the choice of food was limited, but it was hot and they have a huge bouncy castle which the kids loved!

In all the restaurants we tried I was surpised at the lack of fresh vegetables and fruit. Lots of chips though!

I would recommend a car as the resort is very small and limiting. I definitely wanted to get out and see other places. We used the bus service which was excellent.

Very small resort with only a few restaurants and bars but very clean and tidy. Sa Nacra and the steak house are a few minutes walk away but well worth it.

The best restaurant is the ocean restaurant which is opposite the commercial centre. Very good food and superb service and even have a bouncy castle to keep the kids amused.

The Jolly Barrel bar is ok and showa all the live football on sky.

Quiet resort with not much entertainment, though citudella is a short bus trip away. ideal for a peaceful time with kids. Beaches are very sandy and safe
sa qadra and sa nacra are the two best places to eat in sa caleta.the former does great meat and fish platters.

The resort is very quiet, a little too quiet for my liking. But it's great if you want somewhere quiet or a base to explore the rest of the island.

The resort we stayed in, Sa Caleta, was very clean and had fantastic views of the ocean everywhere you looked !!
There was a commercial centre just at the end of the road from the apartments we were staying in with a selection of bars and restaurants and shops.
Just down the coast, a short walk away were two gorgeous restaurants which you can visit.
Sa Quadra which is one of them is the most amazing food you have ever tasted !!! It is set in a cave and it actually does feel like you're eating in a cave !!
The resort all in all was really well presented to tourists and we are definately going back again this year !!!

The resort we stayed in was very clean and there wasn't any litter to be seen lying on the pavements!

There was plenty to do in Sa Caleta and there were plenty of Bars and Restaurants in the area which were just a few minutes walk from the Blanc Palace Hotel.

One of the favourites for most of the guests that stayed at the Blanc Palace seemed to be Sa Quadra which although did take a while to find it was well worth the hunt and I would say that it is the best restaurant in the area.

I only visited the beach nearer the end of my stay but I wish i had visited it sooner! It was very clean and there was always sunbeds available. Yes I would visit this resort again.

The beach,it was a cove but very nice,my chidren loved it. The resort was just right the children could go off and play, but I felt safe because I could still keep my eyes on them.
