Lovely resort but very quiet. Sa Nacra and Sa Quadra restaurants short walk away were very good. However there is a bus into old capital of Cituidella which costs 4 euros 20 for family of four, takes five mins and there are lots of shops and restaurants there. The beach was small but doesn't get too crowded (which is handy if you dont feel like getting up at 7.00 for sunbed - this can be annoying especially when people dont use them until midday or afternoon). I would recommend this as a good place for a family holiday.

We really liked sa caleta although there was only a couple of shops there is a bus that takes a couple of minutes into the old capital ciutadella which has more choice. The beach is really nice and clean.

The surrounding area was a dead zone. There, literally was no-where and nothing to do. There was one small supermarket belonging to the other apartments, and a small restaurant about 5 mins walk away which again was pricey with little choice. There was no selection of bars, restaurants or anything for adults or children. The brochure stated a "charming beach cove" 5 mins walk but it was dirty and smelly with lots of washed up seaweed. We spent a lot of money getting cabs into the nearby livelier resort of Cala n Bosch ( around 12 euros each way). Great apartments and hotel, however the brochure should state that there is nothing in surrounding area. Great holiday if you dont mind being confined to the entertainment every night in hotel.

We were all very disappointed with the local beaches, very small and very smelly, my children normally love the beach but one visit for them was quite enough.

We vistied Aqua Rock water park twice which I thought was quite small but the children really loved it, however really over priced on their food and drinks.

We travelled into Cuitedella and Cala N'Forcat of an evening which was a nice change from our hotel entertainment. We would also go to Blanc Palace apartment for dinner, and the entertainment was execellent. Most of the restaurants have identical menu`s and after 2 weeks can be a bit boring, however we did finally find a really nice place called Sa Quadra on the corner of the second beach. The food was lush and I really wished we found it sooner.

Not much to do in the local area but cabs were really cheap and reliable and air conditoned..

We had a great holiday and the weather was terific..

Sa caleta itself is very quiet but it was ideal for us.

We had a fantastic holiday and are booking again for next year.

Superb location for the quiet and friendly holiday. super restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. Our favorite is the beach bar beofre you get to the Sa Quedra Restuarant.
