A block is above restaurant but only noise we heard was the ragging of sunbeds. My son was on E block and he got noise from next hotel till early hours and also he didn't have a balcony

The resort itself is very nice but also very English!! I know that's a bit mad me saying that but without sounding to harsh, when I go away I want to mix with the locals and not see nothing but English entertainment, English food, allday breakfasts here.
Thats why I would only go back for the sun and to relax/chill/get a tan on the beach or around the pool. If you are looking for something a bit more I have been told that Maspalomas is the place to go.

The Beach in Amadores is absoloutely stunning the sea was crystal clear and the sand was golden, it was lovely and clean with loads of parasols and loungers.
We ate by the beach a couple of times and the best place by far was Monet's.

Amadores beach great water cool & refreshing, prices a bit more expensive than puerto rico, ideal to relax, take a boat to mogan on friday for market day.

No entertainment, but taxis were cheap and plentiful, so we spent some time at the Commercial and Europa centres.

The vistamar is just outside Puerto Rico, sitting above Amadores beach. The beach is more fine shingle than sand, not very good for making sand castles! but was clean and well kept, with toilet & shower facilities for which there is a charge, plenty of places to eat and buy the usual beach toys and sun lotions etc, but there is quite a steep slope into the sea and the strong waves make it difficult to get in and out of the water. Nearby Puerto Rico is a lively mix of bars, restaurants and shops, with some nice public park areas but be prepared for all the stairs as the resort has been built into a narrow valley.

Went to Puerto Rico and Europa center, still a bit scruffy, and full of idiotic people still cutting a living out of pestering you for timeshare, my advice take some ear plugs and some blinkers for them.

amadores is beautiful, beach excellent and so clean, the people are alway cleaning and it is an idyllic spot.

We stayed in the Amadores area of Puerto Rico the beach is to die for, it's a lovely man made beach.
This area is still being developed and is nice and quiet, but 2 mins in a taxi will take you to Europa or Commercial centres, or, if like me you enjoy walking there is a lovely clifftop walkway with stunning views of the sea you can take to Puerto Rico harbour.

Amadores beach is clean and the bay is safe for adults and children alike. There are bars and restaurants which serve a great variety of food, the shops service most needs and the europa centre is within 10 minutes walk for those who seek more exciting adventures.
Puerto Rico is a 4 Euro taxi ride away and is the more commercial style centre, the "lucky lucky men" selling cheap fake watches and sunglasses can be pests but they soon get the message.
Anfli golf course is a lovely setting for the amateur golfer with 9 par 3 holes in a picturesque setting. We booked a horse trekking trip through the rep to Las Palomos which is also a very good morning out.
Amadores is yet to be fully developed and it is to be hoped that they do not spoil what is an excellent resort.

A very quiet resort with very little to do. However this did
not bother us greatly as we were happy to spend time around the pools at our hotel.
