Spent two weeks in The Jardin Isla Bonita. The only complaint I coould make would be that the evening entertainment is not really geared to adults but still quite enjoyable. Bar staff can be brusque at time but understandably the do have a lot to do, they tend to appreciate if you make an effort to say things in spanish like gracias or porfavor. Pool was nice if a little busy. The extra touches where great, fresh sheet all the time, pool towels provided for you and the waiting staff are fantastic proffesional to the core. We only encountered one roach in the whole time we where there which for Tenerife is great. The food was lovely tonnes of fresh salad and fruit loads of pasta and loads of meat choices Friday night was fish night which didnt appeal to me personally but all looked lovely. Breakfast was great as was lunch and always plenty to go around.

there was plenty of food but was not cooked throughly.pool bar was shut while pool was open which was inconvinent.the rooms were very basic.thin mattresses made camp beds uncomfortable.advertised as being in playa de las americas which is a taxi ride away.also advertised astwo hotels but are just one big complex.entertainment was limited same thing every night.cabarate started to late usually around 10:00pm.
major building going of but were only told it was minor work.

Fabulous - in a word! Booked last minute via Teletext and an absolute bargain.

Two hotels combined - two separate pools, one very much a child-friendly pool and the other very deep and more of a classic swimming pool (we think this should be an over-10s pool as there is no lifeguard). Sunbeds a problem to get, as ever, but as we always up very early we just put our towels down @ 8.00am and then came straight back to them after breakfast and remained there for the day. The problem seems to lie with those people who put towels down @ 8.00am but don't show up to sit on them till 12.00 or even later! Don't know what the answer to this problem is other than for the hotel management to make a sweep up of towels @ 9.30am and if you ain't got your bum on it they should take it away. One morning they did this after someone created a fuss at reception because he couldn't get a bed @ 9.00am and removed all the personal towels - if you had a green hotel towel they seemed to leave those where they were.

Food - excellent - loads of choice, at all meals, always something you can eat and always of a good standard. In the evenings the chefs cook most of the main courses in front of you so you can ask for well-done steak if that's how you like it.

Rooms - okay, no complaints but not what I'd call 4-star in England! Bathroom was a little smelly but a bottle of bleach soon put that right!

Entertainment - kids club had a mini disco every night which they really seemed to enjoy. Didn't see any of the cabarets as they started after 9.30pm and we were either out walking or had retired for the evening!

On the whole a nice hotel that we wouldn't hesitate going back to again (indeed we are thinking of going in October for the half term). Situated in a nice spot with bus stops right outside where you can get a bus to almost anywhere in Tenerife you might choose to go to.

We visited the hotel back in December 1998 when my daughter my was 2 and said we would come back again one day, and we did. We enjoyed it as much this time as last and really from a family point of view could not fault the hotel at all.

The only thing I could comment on was when we were there in December we had the entertainment in the entertainments room, but unbeknown to us the entertainment in April and through the summer is outside and the evenings were really cold. None of us had bought jacket or warmer clothing so we got very cold !

Also as in every hotel the problem of sunbeds and people keeping towels on them and not turning up until 3 in the afternoon was annoying. There was a security guard who periodically would remove the towels !

The hotel, staff, food and location were great and we are already planning our next holiday back there !

the hotel was excellent, some of the entertainment required a certain taste but it was very good.
i am 15 and i became friends with phil and ceaser in entertainment and often helped with kids club and with dancing at night as i am hoping to do child care.
all the staff are very friendly and reception are happy and polite everyone of the staff smiles or says hello.
in the rooms the only fault was the 'camp' bed which was very uncomfy and i could feel the boards through the very thin matteres.
the food was also good, fresh cooked and not all the food was left for hours it was changed even if there was food left in it.
a very good family holiday it was so good i am going back next year with a friend.
you also cant go wrong with all inclusive if you have kids because they can just go get a drink or ice cream with out pestering for money.
well worth the money and the wait.

Isla Bonita is the hotel for me.The hotel i visited was great. The entertaiment was great especially with phil Ceaser and betty. The pools were okay but freazing cold. Also the other pool{as there was two parts to the hotel}was being dug up so that ruined most of my holiday. Also you would have to put towls out so you would get a seat but some people put their towls out @ 8:oo am would have their breakfast and then go out and wouldn't come back till 1:00pm.The rooms did smell a bit and you might get a cocoroch but that was okay because you can kill them with the spray that you get from the supermarket spar. The bathroom also stank untill the cleaners came.Te staff there were also very nice except the people at reception.

We have been to Hotel Isla Bonita four times now. We have booked by teletext holidays and have found the most amaizing hotel. All inclusive is great - you can eat, drink and have as much ice cream as you like. The hotel is clean and the food, although basic suits us well. The beach is about 10 minutes away and coming back to the hotel is up a slight hill. Ceasar is the main attraction to my little girl. She wants to marry him!! He gives all children attention which they adore. He is the real reason we have gone back there so many times!! The childrens disco is excellent and the shows which start at 10:00pm are very professional. I will definately visit this hotel again once my new baby boy can walk!!

Jardin Isla Bonita is a great hotel for a family holiday they hold sweets in reception. They have 4 pools although they are making something new with 2 pools. You get a green ticket for towls. Entertaiment is very funny . At christmas the tables are decorated beautifully with a candle. The entertaiment room has very comfy chairs. I f you put 2 together you could make a bed for the little ones. The staff can also speak english. They have a stage upstairs for the entertaiment in the summer. They have have 4 bars which are in the upstairs entertaiment area, the entertaiment area downstairs and in both pool areas. They have balconeys which you can see over the pool area. It is a lovely view. They have a mini disco for the children and they get sweets at the end.

The hotel was very clean and the towels in your room got washed every day if you wished.

The food was average not a lot of choice for kids, We also had a night at the BBQ which was nice because your food was brought to you. Evening meals excellent all food cooked in front of you.

Location excellent, a quick walk from the beach.

The maids didn't speak hardly any English, the reception staff not very friendly but the hotels entertainment staff was excellent, always trying to get you to do something especially Ceasar. The evening entertainment was excellent. I think I got up on the stage at least 4 times brill. We enjoyed it that much we are visiting again in November this year and we cannot wait!

Top class hotel.

Marvelous food, all day/night kids entertainment. Two good sized pools and a kids pool.

This is the best hotel I have been in. There are strict rules for dressing for dinner and having to be seated by the waiter. Good kids club.
