Bodrum is a lovely place to visiy , There are lots of shops any kinds( you name it you can find it) Cheap, cheap , cheap!!!( but good quality). People are very friendly and helpful. You can find nice places for entertainment(Bars, night clubs, restaurants). We are definetely going back again. Extremely clean environment, the weather, the food and the people are absolutely adorable.

Bodrum is a very lovely place to visit. Very clean and the people are very welcoming. Entertainment was good plenty of bars and disco's for the young and old. Shops open 24 hours so you can always get a bargain...we got lots!!!
Beach looked nice and clean a bit full though so may have to get there early.
This was our second visit to Bodrum and it certainly won't be our last it was great!!!! went to cariabean last year and this was much better!!

Bitez, where we ended up,is an excellent resort. Not too noisy, plenty of very nice bars and restaurants and a few shops. It is within easy access to Bodrum by regular dolmus. We would definately go there again.

Nice resort, lots to do would recommend a boat trip very good and cooling in the hot temperatures!!!
Lots to do suitable for both young and old good for those who want relaxing hol or for the mad clubbers it has clubs that stay open to early hours with great drinks promotion!!

The beach was lovely and clean with clrm waters suitable for family environment.
We met loads of friends here. The waters were soo soo clean you could see the little fish swimming around.
We'd take a little bread with us down to the beach after lunch and place it in to the sea and saw millions of little fish swim up and eat the bread.that was amazing.
I honestly would recommend any one to go as its a truely lovey place.

Great location just a short 5 minute walk down to the beach and the bars. Great range of restaurants especially Brunchies, although quite expensive. For a gorgeous but cheap al a carte meal try 'The Garden' it' set on the beach front and the food and portions are fantastic!
The beach in Bodrum isn't the best but you can take a short dolmus ride to Gumbet where the beach is bigger and nicer, and it's only 10 mins away.
The resort has a great weekly market where you can buy all the Louis Vuitton in the world for the smallest imaginable price. '3 for a fiver!!' The stall holders can be a bit pushy but you can also have a good laugh and joke with them. They don't mean any harm.

I would advise anyone to keep clear of Jimmys bar but the resort itself is lovely with plenty of day trips on offer.
There is a lovely eating place just outside the apartments which is well worth a visit we were eating there most days.

I'm just back from my holiday and it was great! I'm going back again next summer. The staff were great and so helpfull and enjoing it couldn't be better!!

really lovely place would go back food was excellent the beech bars were lovely.
Visit a bar called the TEMPLE, it's on the beach past the castle, it's very romantic (lights in the water and candles burning) and they will not rip you off like other bars(some places will short change you all the time)

Bodrum is a busy busy little town with plenty of shops and restaurants but you'll never see a bit of litter anywhere very clean indeed.
There are endless pubs, shops and places to eat and always someone outside inviting you to go in. Again, always friendly and it's nice to smile and say "no thanks" and not just ignore them - they're up against a lot of competition and all trying to earn a living. A good tip for the people trying to sell boat trips etc. is just to tell them you're going home tomorrow - that ususally works! If you're looking for nightlife then you must go on the Katamaran which is the world's largest floating night club - it's amazing. It has a glass dance floor so you can see the sea while you're dancing. It's very very busy and there are no regulations on things like strobe lights which are on permanently so don't go if you have any problems with things like that. Once you're out on the water there are shuttle boats back and forward to land so you don't have to stay all night if you don't want to
