The hotel staff where helpful and pleasant at all times. We only stayed B&B. The breakfast was what the locals eat fresh yoghurt ,sliced cheese, meat, local breads and cakes, there was also hot food boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, grilled local sausage, enough of a choice to keep you happy.
The rooms where always cleaned new towel every couple of days nothing was a problem to the housekeeping staff.
The hotel is on the train route (driven on the road) to the centre but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the centre.
This is our second time at the Sredets and it won’t be our last.

The rooms were very basic but the cleaner was thorough and our room was left really clean each day. The cleaners and restaurant staff were very pleasant. We ate at the hotel most nights and the food was tasty and substantial. We didn't find anywhere better in the resort.
The main downfall was lack of air-conditioning. We were unable to change rooms or rent a fan. This made the nights very uncomfortable - be warned!
The pool was lovely. However, the bar staff played their music at full volume all day and this became extremely irritating. They did turn it down when asked but only for half an hour. The system wasn't great so it sounded awful at high volume. It even got on the nerves of our teenage children! The barmen also spent most of their time chatting up any young girls that arrived. Very unprofessional!
The reception staff were surly and unhelpful - customer service is not well developed in this hotel!

we stayed b&b staff where always helpful room cleaned everyday , the breakfast was usual contiental with a hint of english,the hotelis within easy walking of the town center and the beach.

Hotel Sredets is a basic place, but it's what you pay for. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean but we didn't have air conditioning, whereas most of the hotel did. We did not really need it but at times the room was a bit humid.
The pool was very nice and clean, there is a bar there and plenty of sunloungers available.
As for the food and entertainment we didn't have any as we went self catering and spent every night out, i would highly recommend going self catering or bed and breakfast as the food out of the hotel is fantastic and this hotel is in a great location as there are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The beach is also about a five minute walk! Really enjoyed our holiday here x

The hotel is very clean and in a good position. It`s in the middle of things but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
The breakfast was good, no complaints there. We went b&b but other people we spoke to were not impressed with the food served for half board.
The pool is very good and cleaned daily. The bar is open 24 hours but there wasn`t crowds of people in at any time.

Hotel Sredets has recently gone from a two star hotel to a three star hotel.We were told this was due to recent renovations and the construction of a swimming pool.The quality of food was generally ok and much better than the general standard around the resort.The hotel is on the outskirts of the resort away from all the noise of the centre,which is about a twenty minute walk.The beach is quite near,taking only ten minutes to get to.The hotel staff were the same as the majority of Bulgarian people seem to us in the way their attitude seems rude and abrupt.But this is just their way.The worst part of the hotel is the pool side entertaiment.It consisted of the bar staff and a very loud stereo.They would play only the songs they liked over and over again from early morning to about eight at night.Other than that,the hotel is good value for money and has a very nice large swimming pool.

Hotel Sredets in Bulgaria, just had a re vamp and was very clean, staff quite friendly and towels changed daily.
Rooms basic but clean only problem no kettle in rooms!Food not very good in hotel but resort made up for this, cheap enough to eat out everyday, booked same hotel for 2005 so cant be that bad!
