It was our first time in Corfu and I would definitely go back my mam and dad said we were going back next year for a week and for 2 weeks in 2007 as we already have a holiday booked for next year.
The hotel was the cleanest I've ever been in the rooms were cleaned every day our beds changed and made, we were given clean towels every other day and the cleaners were very friendly if you bumped into them they would say hi and ask how you are they were very friendly.
The hotel food was very filling and delicious you could tell from the way it looked it was tasty. You could also tell it wasn't rushed or over done.
The hotel location was amazing you could see the Albanian mountains which was very nice. The views were lovely.
Hotel staff is who make the holiday they treat us like royalty.
The waiters around the pool and at the saxophone bar were always making sure you had a drink and were alright. When we first arrived and got of the coach which had brought us from the airport zafiris and some others came rushing over to help us with our luggage then he put our stuff in the mini van and drove us up the bank (which isn't very big) till got to the top and he showed us where our room was and told us how to use the electricity it was well organised. I will miss all the staff so much because they were so friendly.
The entertainment was good some nights it was quiet. The music they play is good they have a wide range. There is karaoke night which are funny because people who can hardly sing get up and make you laugh it was great.
I would definitely visit again to see all the staff and have a great time all over again

After reading the reports proir to our departure we were very concerned on our arrival when we were put in block 100. These were unfounded, we had no problems whatsoever with these. Excellent apartments, clean and quiet, the cooking rings basic but plenty of excellent tavernas to eat in nearby. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to much trouble for anyone.
Would visit these apartments again, but sadly not Sidari.

We arrived in the middle of the night and were greeted by a mini-bus and helped with our cases directly to our apartment which was wonderful!
Rep meeting held far too early the next day it's held about 1pm. Too early when you've arrived at 4.30am, which is a shame as Sidari can become a bit boring after 2 weeks and a few excursions would have been nice.
The waiters work very hard all day but unfortunately, we found their approach too full on as we were hoping to chill out and not be approached every half hour or so asking if we wanted drinks/food etc (would be lovely if this was fully inclusive and they weren't paid commission)HA HA!!Apartments are excellent and the maid service/cleaning is next to none.
Beautiful swimming pool. Entertainment limited to saxaphone bar about 3 x per week. Bit boring and would be nice to see more professional entertainment. Saxaphone bar nice to relax in if you have kids but soft play area not safe for little ones as bare metal exposed and no first aid available. (staff were unable to recall English language skills when we needed help but fine when you are paying for drinks/tips etc

Excellent hotel, we were a party of 7 teenagers and 10 adults the staff knew all of us by name within a couple of days.
The hotel food was excellent, the staff couldnt do enough for everyone. There were a family there whose son was very poorly and ended up in hospital, the staff from the hotel took him to the hospital and then visited him later on in the evening to see how he was, the so called holiday reps were no where to be seen, disgusting service by the reps, the hotel owner was more concerned.
It is nice to know that in 2007 you can book this holiday direct without going through a tour operator. Excellent restaurants close by especially Face Bar, great food and very reasonable.
Will go back when we can book direct with hotel however they do need to look to change the entertainment more often.

We stayed at Hotel Zafiris Apartments on a self catering basis. Our son had his wedding here at the same time.
Everthing that we needed was on the complex.
Our rooms were cleaned every day and our beds made. Towels and bed linen changed very regularly. The restaurant served us with excellent food.
The location was superb, close to all the amenities that we wanted, Tavernas, Bars, well stocked supermarkets etc. The staff could not have been more pleasant and accomodating including the owner Kostas.
The entertainment was excellent and on most nights of the week. We also had our wedding luncheon here. Kostas took charge of the wedding breakfast arrangements and added a very professional touch to our day, he was fantastic with his help and expertise.
All in all we had a fantastic holiday and wedding celebration. We arrived home on Monday 18th July 2005 and today Wednesday 20th July 2005 we have booked our return visit with other family members for June 2006.

We had been recommended these apartments by friends we met on a previous holiday. We read all the comments about the Zafiris before we left and they sounded brill.
We have just returned back from there after 2 weeks. We found the location was great set up on the cliff looking down on to the small cove. The pool spacious and clean. The staff were superb especially Spiros (George Michael), George and Spiros 2. Great waiter service around the pool which is unusual for apartments in Greece. The Greek night is a must which we have done before on previous holidays and got average food. This night was fabby, stacks of food and good value for money.
The only bad comment I have to say about here is we got block 100 which is at the bottom of the hill a few mins walk away from the pool. If you wanted a pool view you have to pay extra when you book your hol. We had the 2 bedded one and the bedrooms were fine but the whole place smelt of damp. The bathroom needed upgrading. Also not any sofas to sit on in the main living area. It did not however spoil our hol as we were never in them!!
I would recommend Aqualand but book through the car rental shop to the left of the hotel entrance. We would most definately return here.

The previous reviews about the Zafiris are all spot on, the staff, food and location are wonderful.
We had problems with are ground floor apartment it was crawling with ants (you expect things like this in another country but not in your bed or over the kitchen work surfaces) but it has to be said when we complained the problem was sorted out quickly then the ants found somewhere else to enter the apartment.
Another thing which annoyed us was when you took a shower or a bath the water came back up the the drain on the bathroom floor which then flooded the bathroom.
We didn't like the area in which the hotel is situated there are no pavements and its a busy road trying to walk with young children is a nightmare. Sidari was not for us (Blackpool abroad). We enjoyed eating at Nikholas the food and service where both excellant and we hired a car from Dimitri and Manos great value for money which saved our holiday we would have been bored without it.

We just came back yesterday, 1st July, after staying a week in the Zafiris apartments.
We had a one bedroom apartment with a side sea view which was absolutley fantastic.
Very clean with air conditioning which was great because it's not very often you get air conditioning in your room.
Massive swimming pool which we were in all the time. The staff are so friendly, George was our favourite, Dometrious was quiet but a nice lad.
The service that the staff gave is absolutley fantastic they work so hard and very long hours too.
The food was absolutley fantastic and excellent value for money.
We are booking up for next year straight away.

The location is perfect, with fantastic sea veiws, the food was excelent and the themed nights made us feel like we were one of the family but what really impressed us was the way the staff embraced us like old friends. We never felt any need to leave the hotel grounds nor did we need to leave the sunbeds because the guys waited on us hand and foot, fantastic.

Fantastic! We only stayed for one week but by the end we felt as if we were one of the family. All the staff were so friendly and made the effort to learn our names right away.
The pool area was great and we didn't need to leave our loungers for anything - the guys were so fantastic and brought us anything we needed!
The food in the restaurant was excellent but we ran out of time before we could try everything - Spiros was great at recommending local dishes to try and he is very cute, too!
At the Saxophone bar, more great staff, especially Nicky the DJ, Dimitri and Yannis - the couple of days it rained they were fantastic, putting on movies for the kids and making cocktails for the parents. You have got to try a Frogshit!!!!
