Absolutely fantastic place. Marinos Apartments were clean and spacious. Air con 30 Euros a week, but safe in apartment was free. Apartments were cleaned 6 times in a week. We had a sea view (upstairs) and it was so quiet in the night. Marinos came to greet us, but did not need to bother him as we had no problems. I have no doubt he would have been really helpful if we needed him. Resort had lots of restaurants and the beach was busy, but beautiful. 10 minutes from airport, so no hassle. Zorbas was worth 2 visits! Great dancing and staff friendly. Princess Hotel next door was lovely, pool was great and food was lovely. Taxi is 5 euros to Argostoli and I recommend the Captains Table and La Gondalierre, both in the square. Even saw the dolphins in the harbour. Only sad we only had a week. Will definitely go for 2 weeks next time!! PS. Toni - our rep was really nice and friendly and happy to sort out issues (if any). She kept us fully informed of the latest security issues.

The resort of Lassi is a purpose built resort which lacks the usual greek charm, however it has all the amenities for a lovely beach holiday.
It is an excellent base to explore the rest of the island, and the beautiful city of Argostoli is a mere 5 euro taxi ride away. Bars are very low key in Lassi, but the resort boasts an array of restaurants.
Zorbas has an excellent greek night on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the restaurant Mythos in Argostoli served the best meal all holidays.
The beach is lovely, but can sometimes be overcrowded.

Plenty of tavernas/bars/shops on lassi main strip - try Pheadra taverna at the Argostoli end of the strip and So Simple bar both excellent and very friendly.
Lassi is a great place to base yourself in to see the island.
Go there you won't be disappointed!!

Loved Lassi, the locals were really friendly especially in the Nefeli restaurant. Plenty of good restaurants, even an Internet cafe The Aquarius, great way to keep in touch with the family back home. The beaches were lovely and only a 10 minute walk away. Some days traffic could get quite busy on the Main road. If you hire a car drive carefully through Lassi. We went to Oskars for some Greek dancing, you need a taxi only 5 euros. Even my husband joined in the dancing - good fun. (You do not have to dance if you don't want to).

Lassi is brilliant. Very relaxing and calm. Many beaches to choose from. Many restaurants - none by the sea unfortunately. Nice trips - glass bottom boat is good. Make sure you go to Argostoli and take the boat to Lixouri - only 5 euros!!
Theres a few cocktail bars - all nice friendly people. Not good for clubbers!

Lassi is lovely but a bit commercial better to get a 5 euro cab and go to Argostoli.Get the ferry to Lixouri where there are lovel restaurants e,g Zorbas famly run.Visit Itahaca or take a cruise to the neighbouring islands.The whole island is beautiful.

Lassi has the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. They are immaculately clean, great beach bar and have toilets. The water is clear and calm, perfect for children, and the coastline is very green and lush.
The resort was perfect for us as we love the beach during the day, and by night you have many choices of restaurants and bars in Lassi, or if you want a bit more people watching it's only 5Euro into Argostoli. Check out Sirtaki for a drink, it's an olive grove with comfy seats dotted around and twinkling lights - stunning.

The resort was clean, restaraunts and clubs are only 5 min walk away all of which are cheap and to an excellent standard, the beach's are good but had been washed away a little when we arrived due to a harsh winter, so there wasn't as much of it as there should have been. public transport runs along the main road, the stop is 30 seconds away just close to the supermarket and this will take you into the capital argostoli for as little as 1 euro, by taxi it was 7 euro. 4 excursions available through first choice 1; a greek night, 2; island tour; boat trip to ithaca; 3 bbq on glass bottom boat. all are available by as much as 20 euro's cheaper in the car hire place along the main roda (signs advertise these), except the greek night which must be a first choice thing. boat trip to ithaca is much recommended, a day sailing and touring the small island, and if your lucky like we were then the dolphins will follow your boat through the sea. would definately come back to lassi, a quiet relaxing resort with an easy way of life.
