The centre of Trianda is a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. We have visited many times over the past 15 years or so and it is clear to us that All Inclusive hotels are taking their toll as the resort seems a lot quieter than it used to be.

There are plenty of watersports available the beach is shingle and pebbles but clean the sea is crystal clear.

There are plenty of bars to choice from all of which are friendly.

Location a bit out of the way, only a couple of shops, bars etc and beach disappointing. However, only short hop over to great beach at Faliraki or Rhodes town for sightseeing.

Ixia is a well developed costal strip, a few miles south of Rhodes Town. Nothing special, but OK. Reasonable selection of shops, bars, restaurants etc.

Do NOT go there is you want a sandy beach.

A 10 minute taxi ride into Rhodes town. A must do. Visit the wonderful 'old town' with its medievial streets. Try and go on Yuesday or Saturday afternoons and walk the old town walls. Definitely climb the clock tower - hard work but worth it.

Rhodes Town is the place to go for boat trips. I recommend popping over to Symi. Beautiful place, especially the harbour-side.

Taxi from Ixia costs 7 euros. Catch a return taxi from next next to the harbour.

Rhodes is great. The people are nice. The prices are cheap. GO There - Soon !!!

Ixia is a small friendly resort with a few bars and restaurants. The beach is pebbles so not good on the feet. We saw quite a few watersports, jetski mainly. Mini golf which we loved and quite a few hotels.

We are not commenting on resort entertainment as we used the hotel.

The resort was very quiet, there are some lovely bars and restaurants.

You had to get taxis into the main resorts as the roads were not suitable to walk with children if you go vist the windmill, very charactorized.

The beach was shingle but still pleasant.

This resort is fairly quiet with a few shops and restaurants close to the hotel. This beach is not sandy but pebbley so swimming shoes are very handy. The beach and surrounding area was very clean. To reach the beach you have to cross a very busy road so a crossing or underpass would be very helpful. Apart from that we would not fault this resort. We had a very enjoyable holiday here and would certainly consider going again.
