I thought Mira Hotel was great. Rooms were cleaned very well every day and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The staff were superb - they were always smiling and nothing was too much trouble for them - they made you feel totally at home. The breakfast was very basic - just toast and jam and tea/coffee, but other food could be ordered and it was very cheap. The location of the hotel was also great, being near to shops/bars/restaurants and only a short walk to the beach.
Would not hesitate in staying there again for a moment.

Stayed in this hotel in Feb, a bit of a culture shock on arriving in Goa, but could not fault this family run hotel.
The hotel is kept clean everyday and bedsheets and towels every other day.
The staff are brilliant nothing is to much trouble and they are so polite and smiling.
The only sticking point was the breakfast, you only get tea/coffee toast and jam, if you want anything extra like eggs bacon etc you have to pay for, but saying that it is very cheap, but you expect a bit more having paid b&b.
The hotel is situated ideally for restaurants and shopping as well as the beach, but we found that asking the taxi drivers outside to take us to a quiet beach was far better.
This is not a negative report for this hotel, I will be looking to go there again next year. I would recommend this hotel even though it is only a 1 star,
some of the 2 & 3 stars are a lot worse.

Don't expect 5 star hotel and you won't be disappointed.
Hotel Mira may be basic but is maintained to a very high standard.Bed linen and towels changed every 2 days and rooms cleaned daily.
Cannot fault staff,all very friendly and helpful-always smiley.
Without a doubt would recommend this hotel to anyone,will be returning myself next year-can't wait!!

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in we have been going to Goa for 15 years.
The staff are very nice and are very helpful they treat you like family. We loved at this hotel we tried to book for this November but Thomas Cook have no availability so booked hotel ourselves and got flight only.
The rooms are very clean clean beds and towels every other day.
We would recommend this hotel we have stayed in 3 star hotels but haven't had a patch on the Mira. We are going there November 17/2006 can't wait.

Stayed at Mira Hotel all through monsoons and was very happy. They make you feel like part of a large extended family.
We were the first people to visit the Mira on the day it opened many years ago and have been going back regularly to stay ever since.
If you are unsure what to do & where to go when you're there, they are full of helpful suggestions. Rooms are very clean & linen changed regularly.
Anything extra you want they will try their best to get for you.Would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Hotel Mira fantastic staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms were basic but cleaned regular.
In a good spot for the beach and shops stayed at this hotel twice now and going back this Christmas.

Hotel Mira's bar is open until very late, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Do not be put off by this being a 1*. We had clean sheets and towels all the time.
We stayed in a different resort last time, but took a taxi back to the Mira for an evening, and they all remembered us and treated us like old friends. Definitely to be recommended!
