On arrival the reception staff very friendly and helpful.The bar staff and dining room staff not so friendly or helpful.Everything written in Spanish could not read the menu or any of the information board.
The room maids were very thorough in their cleaning.Towels changed every day.Bedding every couple of days. No hairdryer or kettle in the rooms.It did have a drying rack on the balcony. The hotel itself was very clean.
Food all Spanish breakfast continental and saw a cockroach running over the slices of bread on the second day. Dinner was fish,chicken every day along with chips everyday no hot veg only carrots beansprouts etc on the salad bar which blended in with the so called hot food. Dessert was green jelly and some sort of white sauce or icecream everyday.Glad we did not stay full board.Spent our euro's on eating out.Made our holiday expensive.
Location was ok on the boarder of the old town but we prefer to be more in the centre of new town.Its next door to Hotel Diplamatic and across road from Hotel Benidorm Centre.
Entertainment was for the Spanish so we did not join in we don't do ballroom dancing.
We did not go to the gala evening meal on New Years Eve as it was full of Spanish and did not find the guests friendly although we did try to speak to guests before this evening in order to have a good night.We got back to hotel at 11.20pm sat in our room and it did sound like they were having a good time.
We would not recommend this hotel to English people.We would not stay at this hotel again.
It does have a seperate smoke room in the bar area.The rooms do have ashtrays.
