We were first put on the 15th floor in the main building, we asked to be moved and the receptionist was very helpful and put us in the annexe.

The room was very clean and we found all the staff very friendly, the food was nice, we didn't have to eat out
The pool area was very clean and the entertainment was good.

We certainly will be booking again next year.

Our holiday rep was very good also!

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Pueblo. The hotel was very clean, we were in one of the 5 annexe blocks which we were really pleased with overlooking the pool area.

Entertainment staff worked very hard and catered for all nationalities (Spanish, English, French and German).

The food was buffet style and on the whole very nice if all else fails there was always spaghetti bolognese! Burgers, hot dogs and toasted sandwiches with chips for the kids snacks.

Only downside was the bar service we found that they served the Spanish guests before the English and there was no queueing system.

Overall we had a lovely holiday and we would go again.

Excellent food choice, decent room, clean, good position re beach, entertainment etc.

Onlt one thing annoyed me, which is the ritual of reserving the sunbeds. Hotels really must do something about this problem. The trouble is if you dont get there early to reserve a bed, then you wont get one. So you end upgetting your beds than not using them.

This was the second time at this hotel, first time being 3 years ago.

For the amount of people that stay there the accommadation & food are fine.

It's clean and bright and serves the purpose it's intended for.

The only two downsides we found were that one of the male receptionists was not very friendly or helpful. It would help if, when allocated a room, you are actually told at the reception what kind of room it is and facing!

Otherwise we had a good relaxing week there in middle of our winter.

We have just spent a week at the Pueblo. The hotel itself is very clean.

The food average same menu 4 out of 7 nights.

Some staff very unhelpful I am a disabled traveler with a wheelchair, on our arrival to our room we discovered it was very small in one of the annexes at the back, we asked for a bigger room but we had to wait 8 hours for it to be cleaned after phoning reception twice very unaccommodating staff will not be returning

Just got back from this holiday, our first time abroad with our little girl. Had a thoroughly nice time and don't have many complaints.
We did have to wait an hour or so in reception on our arrival until rooms were cleaned which was a pain after the journey. And then found ourselves up on the 15th floor, which we moved straight away into one of the annexes.
Food was good, lots of choice all you can eat buffet style. We were half board so meant breakfast and evening meal, we were worried having a 2yr old but always found something she liked at each sitting. It was a bit cramped and rushed trying to feed 500+ families in a 2 hour sitting but chefs were working hard and always preparing freshly cooked stuff.
Didn't get involved in any of the daytime activities as we spent most time on the lovely beach 300 yards down the road. At night the entertainment went on until about 11pm which we could hear a lot of but that is to be expected.
Baby pool was a bit small and too close to the 8ft deep end of the 2nd pool (3 pools in total). And you have to be up pretty early to get the sunbeds.
All in all though I would recomemd this place, most of the clientelle were young families or pensioners out for the winter (i.e. no big groups of lager louts although I can't speak for high season)

Excellent hotel and location. We visited peak season and the clientelle was approx 40% spanish, 10% french and 50% english.
We have had six spanish holidays in last 4 years and this hotel provided the best food and entertainment for our party of 2 adults and 4 teenagers.
Children's club looked excellent for the little ones and was very good for teenages. Daytime activities good and varied and evening entertainment was very good. Lots of entertainers bought in and in-house was mostly good too.
The three entertainment staff worked very hard and did a very good job.
Hotel staff varied - some very eager to serve and please, others (particular bar staff) would ignore you and serve everyone else first.
Food provided very good, show cooking every lunch and dinner time, and speciality food served daily too.
All areas - rooms, restaurant, pool, toilets kept very very clean.
Only niggle was that All Inclusive bracelet wasn't enought proof that we were A.I. We had to show room card and sign a reciept to get every drink and meal.

We have stayed at this hotel half a dozen times over the last three years and always had a great time. The 'Barcelo Pueblo' has now become the 'Comfort Barcelo Pueblo' and I don't believe it's just coincidence that the place has changed dramatically. Although some of the very pleasant, original staff remain, the majority have been replaced by rude, short tempered and sometimes very ignorant individuals - and there aren't enough of them.
We've already booked our next holiday (sept 04) and it certainly isn't back at the Pueblo.

Stayed in the Pueblo last June, we all had a ball. The hotel was nice and clean the food can be a bit repetative, but there is always something there. Even for the pickie eaters ( I know I married one ), but then you could always fall back on the snacks offered outside of the meal times ( burgers , chips , toasties etc ).

The restraunt had a dress code for the evening meal, this was good because some of our Europiean cousins were a bit hairy !

The location is a good one ie ; not slap bang in the middle of night clubs but close enough to roll home from, the water park and sealife show is just up the road and the beach is even closer.

We found the staff to be helpful and polite, yes some only speak a little English but hey my Spanish is not up to much and you are in Spain but they understand your bar order so it's not that bad !

The entertainment staff were fantastic for all age's not a bingo board in sight we never saw our kids much in the day except for euros for the pool table or the mini bowling ally downstairs, which also has arcade games and internet.
