The hotel was clean and the maids did come round everyday. The food was really boring, but edible, good job I love chips. The location was fine, about a 5min walk to the beach and shops. The staff were ok, no complaints. But the entertainment was rubbish. It was kids dancing about singing the same songs everynight. And if there was a show on then you couldn't see it because all the seats near the stage were still taken up by the people who planked their ass on them in the morning.

It wasn't the classiest of people, most people were drunk before dinner. I know you go on holiday to relax and enjoy yourself. But is falling about half cut at seven at night fun???

I wouldn't recommend it to young couples, too many kids and not enough to do.

The hotel rooms were basic but that is all that is needed as it was clean and tidy. The hotel food was not brilliant but filled a hole. It was near the beach and the shops were easilt accessable too.

The staff were friendly especially the childrens entertainers they were excellent. The entertainment at night was varied and I enjoyed it all.

I would visit this hotel again and have tried but all the travel agencies I have went to do not have the hotel on their books or I would go back every year.

We have just returned home from a weeks break at the osiris hotel without the children. I must tell you i would never go back to this hotel ever again and i would never take my children.

When we arrived just after midday our rooms where not ready, we where sent to the restuarent on the first floor. The food was ediable if you liked chips, cold german sausage and the salad was very basic. My partner was behind me in the queue for soup as i turned round a women who was rude and ignorant split soup all over my partner and scoulded him.

The hotel was full of low life people that couldnt get enough alcohol. The bar for all inclusive drinks opened at ten o'clock and closed at midnight. You would find the same people sat in the same chairs in the same clothes from morning until night they would only leave the bar when they could fall over or fight with someone. The drinks at the bar would be served in plastic glasses these would either be rough around your mouth or chewed.

The rooms in the hotel are very basic. It was like going back to the 1960's. This hotel is in need of demolishing and needs rebuilding.

The entertainment if thats what you call it was diabolical and all the children did was run about and swear at each other, obviously this is because all they saw there parents do. When we went back to our room after the days events you would think children would be in bed by 1am in the morning not in this hotel, as they would run up and down corridors banging on doors thinking it was a race track.

The walls in this hotel were paper thin and you can hear every conversation. We felt sorry for the staff as they tried to control the low lifes. The staff did the best they could.

We had to move rooms three times and it doesnt matter where you stay in this hotel it is appauling. This should never be a three star hotel it shouldnt even be a one star.

My advise to anyone who is going to this hotel for the first time would be to change hotel and steer clear of the osiris.

the entertainment was fantastic for the kids. there were games for adults and kids. teenagers here had the least things to do because there was nothing really aimed at them. i joined in with all the activities and had a great time. pubs and clubs were fantastic but they were empty until about eleven. staff were really friendly especially the animation team, that do the entertainment. i would definately visit this hotel again. i recommend it for people under the age of fifty because it can be noisy.

On arrival at the hotel we had high expectations as the reception area and entrance looked fantastic, however on entering our room we were disappointed as rooms although very clean were outdated and walls paper thin (as we found out when neighbours enjoyed the all inclusive alcohol too much). Meals were good but got repetitive, usual all inclusive except for the carvery nights which were excellent.

Callela on sight is an old tourist resort, but on a positive note it was a great resort if looking to head for Barcelona as train station was only about 10 mins walk away.
If looking to avoid children this hotel was great as it had an adults only bar, bowling, gym, indoor sauna and rooftop terrace where no kids were allowed.

If you had young kids the hotel entertainment seemed too revolved around them and had a separate play area and pool.

Hotel constantly being cleaned by cleaners.
You would not starve in this hotel, something for every one, food is superb in my opinion but you can't please everyone.

Hotel a fair walk from the beach(you have to pass a busy road and railway to get to it),but at least its set back,in a quiet area.(so any noise is from other guests)

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful but please remember to tip, their wages are low and they work long hours and they have to put up with some very rude people and drunken yobs.

Entertainment excellent, staff worked very hard and long hours.
Our room was clean, but basic, but you only sleep, wash and dress there!
We enjoyed our holiday and have been to this hotel twice,we paid 150 each and got value for money.

Another couple were on a holiday there and they paid 1000 plus for a week/cruise and ended there, they were not too happy and i wouldn't have been if i'd paid that either!
i intend going back this year

Garry, Lynn and little Katie from St. Helens just got back from the H.Top Hotel Osiris in Calella.

Good hotel TOP entertainment (especially for the kids). Chris and Becky worked their socks off all day and night. Football, water polo, killer pool, dance competitions and the kids club (Becky was not well with a heavy cold but soldiered on like a true performer with the kids club during the day & on stage at night) .

I felt that the hotel was riding on the back of these people in that although the hotel was very clean and family friendly, Chris, Becky, Chantelle and Taffey could have been given more help and support.

All in all a very good relaxing and yet entertaining holiday.

The hotel could do with upgrading its structure towards the menu as after a couple of days, I found it to be a little repetitive and the quality could and should have been better considering the price of the holiday. We went out for meals a few times, mainly to the White Horse, Gringo Joes and Bucks Inn (top steak and Guinness !!) and all of these are within a 5 minute walk

Nevertheless a good choice for those families with young or small children.

Been back here several times. Sometimes noisy. Food OK to good. Staff very friendly. Entertainment not so good. 100's of kids mis-behaving (not hotels fault).

Remember if you expect to find things as they are at home, then perhaps you should stay there.
