Outside of the hotel(s) there is nothing until you get to Antalya. Just rows of hotels and "shopping centres" selling identical stuff.
The Town, which is a short distance away, has a beautiful Old Town, park and bay and some modern shops. It's well worth seeing (once).
In fact the resort of Lara is just a strip of land along the coast with a road and rows of hotel complexes along the beach side of the road and rows of apartments shooting up along the other side of the read. There isn't much to get you away from your hotel

This was an absoulutly amzing resort! i would recommend you all to go there. itt was soo clean! the entertainment was the best.there was a show on everynight at 90'clock and it was a good show followed on a disco at 11 till 3. you wa alwais occupied! the entertainment team were young funnyy && good Fun they made my childrens holiday they wass amazing the beach was amazing my family loved the pier leadin out to the beach!

The resort is very nice although not much going on outside the hotels. As we stayed All Inclusive this did no matter though as there was plenty going on in the hotel.
Cannot comment on resort entertainment as did not get involved in any.
Beach was lovely, very clean and not too overcrowded.

the only thing about lara beach that i could say was bad was its a bit remote outside the hotel, but with all the entertainment and private beach parties etc we never felt the need to leave the titanic to want to go anywhere else its a very safe place and ther arent many english there but we had no problems with any other nationality .like the lady said on the reveiw before me how the heck do you better this holiday, well ive come to the conclusion for the money ,titanic and turkey(this was our first visit) is very good value for money and weve booked again for next year. we loved it.

Lara Beach is not really a resort but a strip of hotels.The beach was fine

The resort is spotless. The entertainment is the usual darts, pool games, water polo, water gym etc. The team do work very hard, and are a nice bunch of guys and girls. The beach is well looked after and kept clean.

There was pretty much nothing to do outside of the hotel, we were advised to take $ traveller cheques with us but nobody wanted to cash them for us, so please don't make that mistake. No bars or restaurants to visit, very little shops, so pretty boring at night.

Resort very quiet, a lot of un finished apartments, but really this does not affect the hotel area in the slightest, a small good quality shopping centre within easy walking distance, but not much night life apart from that, however no need to leave the hotel.
There is a bus every day direct from the hotel to Antalya, and this was very nice and we did our own boat trip round the waterfall which was about 12 euros each, and very enjoyable, there is also a market at Topicur, which on getting of the hotel bus you can get taxi for about 12 euros, market good for fake clothes etc and a bit of a laugh, but can get hassled, but was nice to go to.
The private beach was amazing, and loungers were very luxurious and we sat out on the jetty listening to the waves underneath, on large leather cushiions and sun loungers. The beach really made the holiday for us as we were all sun lovers.

Lara Beach is where we live so my report and I'm not going to make one would not carry much weight. Suffice to say that all who come will not be dissapointed.
